No one on this thread has suggested their season is over.

Kirk played a blinder in the reserves today so I would expect him to be back in the league team next week and he could add some real x factor to the bays line up.

Need an xy and a z at the moment. Port should win comfortably next week, more desparate for the win, at home, playing their Bitches.

well without knowing the stats i'd suggest glenelg had more of the ball & went forward a lot more times than wwt did, but wasted most of the opportunities we had, where as wwt especially after 1/4 time made the most of their chances, i thought klun was outstanding & colville played his best game for a long time especially after half time, grocke presented & treeby & mackenzie always play well, for glenelg i think we had a lot of players popping up every now & then but for 4 quaters i'd think block, rudolph, sherwood & holmes while as i said others played well at times but were in & out of the game
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

I want to know who won the 19s! I know the Under 17s lost their last ever match for that grade.

Yep, the ABC commentators said the Bays had many more stats and many more entries into the forward line.

I regret leaving now, cd, but I was just so mad at the time, just fed up. The only time I actually had second thoughts this year to turn up to a match was the Central game at Woodville. As a result I was so glad I went.

And that means the 19s have claimed top spot for now, but there are matches to come against other top five opponents in Port and Norwood to secure it.

Jumper auction underway on eBay - prices ranging from $60 to $250 at the moment.

Hopefully the U19 can maintain top spot and Spelly if it means we win then please follow today's routine again

hey, relax mate, dont act like a little bitch when your team loses...the reason we are all taking joy in your club losing is because they are doing well this year....take it as a sign of respect that for once in your lifetime, the bays are doing well :)

...but when they lose, you'll hear about it

bloody hell, look who sounds all doom and gloom, and you are complaining about other posters saying the season is over... have some faith in your team mate, ffs.

the bays are struggling at the moment but you dont sit in second place for being a shite team. finals are still to come and anything can happen.

Well it was part way through the first term and we did not look good.I also upset one of the ladies who checks the tickets in the grandstand .She was upset about the Eagles playing the same time as the Crows and she will be at the Crows .I said how can you watch that AWFUL team when we are fighting for a spot in the five !! But I think she was more upset when my lad said he falls asleep watching the crows and he supports every Eagles player in the AFL  .
I can not comment on the juniors but the Ressie lads looked so much smaller than the bays guys .

And dont worry I only go home early in GF losses of 126 points

As I wrote earlier in this post Bayman you guys looked better using the ball.I think perhaps Ron (yes I am giving him some credit here  )learnt from playing Centrals when the Eagles used to run the ball .That a hard at it game stops that type of flow / run game .

And dont stress mate your still in the five

I am still sticking with Dogs and Strut being GF faves, with the usual final outcome to follow after Doggie rough stuff by Gowans ( 1 or 2 ) late in the last.

Been a topsy turvy month for the Bays. Good one week, bad the next, but as a few Bay fans have said, we have been unable to play 4 strong quarters pretty much all year. We've been lucky to win a few games and perhaps the 14/4 and second spot is very flattering to some. And I agree at the this point in time.

But I'm sure that a few teams and sour supporters would love 2nd spot going into the finals series...... you know who you are ;-)

Personally. I think the Bays may have run their race. I certainly hope not, but de ja vu is a funny thing with Port at Alberton coming up. I wouldn't be feeling smug at all being a Bay fan

BUT...maybe Rubbers will have the Tigers running on all cylinders towards the finals series. To be 5 goals up and lose by 2 is just unacceptable !

Whereas you have no appreciation of some blokes doing it loudly for their team - and, probably, HFI (sic) as to the rules either.

LOL,

I thought I would get a bite as I was pretty sure at least some of them would be on this site.

The truth of it is that it is very good to see people get involved in the game of football and you guys were actually very well behaved.

Just as a side question, do the Grima boys have a sister playing for the Opals?

Wonder how the three Bay players in the Hendon at 12:00 yesterday played like?

(They were not drinking.....punting....not drinking)
