Just to clairfy, have had a bug earlier in the week which required a couple of days at home. Previously if not looked after it results in a serious bronchial condition. So whilst I am feeling 90% better now I made the call back on Thursday to give this weekend a miss. If not 100%, commentating (which puts a fair bit of stress on the voice) outdoors in 13c conditions could make things worse with finals (2 games back to back) just a few weeks out. I am sure Doug, Big Phil & John and the crew will do an excellent job on LifeFM & I'll still be helping with some ATG updates via mobile phone SMS.

 Nah, we would have heard about it by now if he was...

Sheesh Herds...none of us want your career winding up like that Australian Idol chicky Cossima "Danny" Devito or whatever it was.

If this happens again, can we hook you up to a voice activated computer, where you punch comments in to a keyboard, and a multitude of different voices (at your choice of course, ie. Darth Vader, a jockey, Clint Eastwood, etc) could be used in broadcast...

Getting this thread back on track (because some posters are renowned for going off topic   )...

Listened to the 5RPH Sports Show this morning with John Nankavill, Bill Boten (I think ?) and then man mentioned in this thread, Chris Kendall...

Right at the end of the show Chris made special mention to all the people who have been sending him good luck wishes for his TV calling debut this week at the Eagles v Glenelg game. He was very humbled and touched and made mention he was very appreciative of the good luck messages. Well done CK, good job mate and all the best, once again, for the weekend.

Well done to Chris Kendall on a great debut with the TV call this afternoon...

I have only heard snippets from the news and will watch the tape in the morning, but from what I did catch, you sounded pretty good. Had a great game to call and heard your exitement with a few of the late goals for the Eagles towards the end of the game. Well done mate...
