And I take it you are going to censure Holden78 for his comment in the this thread: http://www.safooty.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=17265 given your strident criticism of Drebin....

Perhaps you might want to investigate the background of his comment before making an ill informed stupid comment mate.

Have looked at the O'hara thread and didn't see anything all that wrong with Holden78 comment. He certainly wasn't saying he wished an injury on anyone at least. You need to understand there will always be a certain resentment from Eagles fans towards O'hara. He had given commitment to the Eagles to continue playing there and later signs with North. I can totally understand why most Eagles fans hold resentment.

O-Kay then...

So its okay for an Eagles supporter to make a negative comment about a North player suffering an ACL injury but it is not okay for a North supporter to make a negative comment about an Eagles player potentially suffering an ACL injury...

Especially when you made the comment "There's no need to wish any sort of injury whoever they are" Now there is a reason??

Yep, that make sense....

Ive explained it to him in a PM, hopefully it makes sense to him and helps put this thread back on topic.

I can't see Biglands playing SANFL.

Biglands was interviewed on 5AA last night...he mentioned that the SANFL was one of a number of possibilities that he's exploring at the moment.

I think the Crows have offered him a job in commercial operations, and he has some other media commitments with Triple M that he's weighing up also.

I think footy is the last thing he would consider.

Correct me if I'm wrong but Holden78 didn't wish the injury upon O'hara. The 2 comments can't be compared. End of story.

I got curious and read the exchanges in the thread. Unless there is some secret code known to only a few here Holden78's comment did not actually and overtly wish injury on the player. Perhaps there is history that tells others that was his intent, but if that is so he has carefully stayed on the safe side of the line which Drebin's comment did not.

Apologies for diverting the thread on-topic, but Rhett was interviewed on the Ch 9 news last night, with plans of trying out in the NFL as a punter.

I'm not sure, but thought he said the short term plan for this was to play for the Eagles and a local gridiron team next year.

He mentioned the other night on 5AA that the training involved in undertaking punting lessons etc goes for about 9 months...and he's not sure if he can be stuffed doing all that and then find out he's not likely to attract interest from NFL clubs or other minor clubs in the US.

Why is it that all are so happy to cut down an Eagles supporter that has an opinion and yet anyone of any other aleigance especially Roosters fans can express their opinions without half as much tripe. Talk about hypocrisy.

Because the North fan's comment was merely a retort to the Eagles supporter initial comment.
You were the hyporcrite for criticising the retorter not the initiator.
Mate, its not rocket science, back on track please folks, this is boring.
