Rowe any relation to Stephen Rowe?

No mate.

I know previously we've caused Sturt problems in the wet, but I'm not so sure the makeup of the teams provide that same advantage for Norwood these days ... Might reduce the Chambers factor slightly, but still hard to see the Legs kicking a winning score tomorrow, hoping for a pleasant surprise though :D

I'll be having a look at this one...

I'm keen to see how much of the footy the Norwood midfield allow the Sturt midfield to rack up...the Dogs were far too loose against Sturt a few weeks back, allowing Crane, Sheedy and others to get far too much latitude.

I think Gallagher is equally as dangerous as Sheedy and Crane, so for Norwood, it will be a matter of just how much they can restrict Sturt's midfield input, while also having blokes contributing going the other way...

I still think Sturt will win this one, but the Legs are definitely not without a chance if they put it all together. Their best is certainly good enough.

In 2006 Bartemucci won the game for Norwood by kicking a Soccer goal on a miserable, Cold Winter's night. However, Glen Cooper served cheap Beer on the Hill at half-time :D :

In 2005, James Begley's career was cruelly ended, Jade Sheedy didn't play and we lost by about 3 goals after Norwood received a two for one goal at the Parade end.

Sturt can win by 5 goals and Cement Top Spot.

Was a battle of two terrible sides that night, noone deserved to win lol

Norwood dominated that game, lead by about 8 or 9 goals and gave Sturt a few cheapies late when the game was over, wouldn't use a bad luck story on that one.

Can, should and probably will ... I guess this weather throws up a lot of uncertainty in most of the games, not many prepared to rule Norwood out, yet skill usually provides an even greater gulf in the week and Sturt have more of it, so I think they're a safe bet to get over the line.

I agree with you mate on 2006, but, in 2005 the Legs did receive a dream-run that miserable afternoon all day too!

There's not been many occasions this decade I've been able to talk my side up mate, but that particular day you talked about it was only a couple of great individual efforts from Pearce and Eckermann that stopped you guys from getting thumped, you were down by about 8 goals in pouring rain in the 3rd quarter and the game was well over ... The consecutive goals you mentioned were only because Vlatko sucked Whiteman in and he received a free before the ball returned to the middle.

I wish we still had Robbie Neill :(

Jackman and Culpitt will drop out of the named 23. The Norwood selectors appear to finally be extracting their heads from their rectums and listening to supporters, who believe it or not are an integral part of EVERY "club". Lets hope the coach selects a game plan this week. Pity the Crows took Johncock instead of Jericho, that could have benefited Norwood greatly.
