I've got a funny feeling that there might be an upset on the cards as well... 8)

Norwood by 5 points, Walker to kick 6 and the winner with 30 seconds to go

Sturt had a few late outs against the Dogs two weeks ago, and covered these absentees exceptionally well...the depth at this club is quite remarkable...

Should bolster Sturt side's well enough to give them a 10 goal + victory...

Thurstans pretty unlucky to be dropped from SANFL, hope to hell he doesn't play 2 more after this week to qualify for finals...

I was at the Power game last weekend, and admittedly I was distracted a few times, but yet again I liked what I saw from Bentley, I really rate the bloke so thats a pretty tidy inclusion for the Blues.

And Thurstans was named in the best players.Think he even got votes in one of the media awards.So--What gives PA ? Tanking,Revising or just haven't got a clue

Whatever- it should be advantageous to have Toby back in Double Blue,so he can get to know all the new boys in case he is still there in September. Perhaps Choco will send Danyle Pearce back as well next week

Agree with you, I think Bentley is an AFL player of the future. Why they would be sending a young kid back to the SANFL, Im not sure.

Yep. It will be Pearce and Chaplin in the best players for the puffs this week so they will play SANFL next week against the magpies. Then Lade will come in for Deluca, Westhoff for Farmer...Where the hell is Thomson listed this week? Must be the dreaded OP again!

Must have been playing funny buggers the last few weeks, Doyle not even listed this week??

I don't mind the look of that team structure-wise, althought the brainstrust never normally lists the team as it will lineup, I'd like to see the two named ruckmen swap via the bench and retain Rowe at CHF as I think he's invaluable to our structure.

Trot's is always a welcome addition and we're a better team for his presence, however I wouldn't suggest he's a certainty yet with the extended bench thats listed - that and the weather will determine the ommissions and exclusions ... At this stage with weather tipped to be woeful, I'd guess that Tyrell and Culpitt would remain in the lineup, and possibly 2 of the others (if Trots doesn't come up).

Doyle to come back after the bye according to Trev Hill.

Whiteman was named in the team tonight, as was Thomson (who was in neither Sturt's not the Power's line up earlier today).

Bentley and Thurstans are handy replacements for Evans and Coad respectively. Perrie will be missed.

I feel a bit apprehensive about this game. I guess I just don't have very good memories of day games at Norwood recently. One bad memory sticks in particular. I think it was wet, muddy and 2003 or 04, and I think it really signalled the start of our on-field demise after the premiership. Toby played for us in that game too. Norwood matched us for more than a half last time around. I will be happy with a win by any margin.

Forecast is for showers and 13deg.

Tanking for draft picks is now known as "cue in the rack" according to Port.

Their dodginess is our gain I suppose.
It's all the SANFL's fault.
