Gallman, McIntyre, Ebert, Pfeiffer, I could go on and on. These are just examples of average players who won't really do anything to benefit the team. Ebert finds the footy but gee he's another one of these good ordinary players.

Rubbish statement - I would hardly include McIntyre in that group or even Gallman for that matter.

McIntyre gets destroyed by his direct opponent basically every second week. What does Gallman do? He's a 188cm key defender?

Fair point about playing undersized players in key possies (Gallman and Cunningham who haven't done a bad job considering) but to say McIntyre gets destroyed every 2nd week is crap. Didn't see him get destroyed this week and he towelled up Passador 2 weeks ago so I think you should put your broom away and stop making sweeping statements.

I taped the ABC program and had a review last night. ANJ’s comment at the 3/4 time huddle summed it up. Too much bombing at the 2 key forwards (read talls) in Allers and Stewart (finally noticed what has been happening all year – too late the mindset is fixed in). These guys were being ganged 3 to 1 very successfully by South (well done South, you are one of 8 teams who have picked North’s 95% method of 50M entry – not rocket science). ANJ begged the players on camera to look at secondary options noting that the Half Forwards were often open for a reception.

The commentators, I think in the second quarter noted when D White (I think) marked and Delvo charging into the 50M area clear of opposition (off camera), so the delivery goes to Allers with 3 South players on him, result turn over. No disrespect, Allers is a great player, probably noticed more as most delivery’s go to him and he fights hard to keep the ball in. But until North seriously accept secondary options forcing oppositions to spread out to cover all players, only then will we see the key forwards in a more even situation.

The half forwards are required to fan out to give the key players an open spece to run into. Mid-fielders and backs need to look for them more.

Is AJ losing it, I know he likes to act as abit of a clown, as seen previous, but lately he hasn't been acting like a serious coach with a problem with his team. A few weeks ago in an ABC game he's seen cupping his hands round his mouth doing the rooster call and this morning he's rung 5AA pretending he's a disgruntled Power supporter, and going on to tell parents to teach their kids how to kick, more or less blaming that on their loss to South. If he was coach of Sturt I'd be worried.

I have to admit that I actually hadnt considered that small fact, yet in retrospect I do have to agree

Yes that fact wasn't lost on me either  I've got nothing against Clarke (I seem to recall the club asked him to move on), but like most Southies, it's fair to say I have very little time for Archard...

North do seem to have more than their share of problems this year after having such a good season last year. I think that Ben Hart came good just at the right time for North last year and was a large part of their finals campaign and as a result is missed perhaps a lot more than people realise.

The point has been made before that Michael Nunan missed out on the finals on more than one occassion on his way to taking the side to a flag yet was still given the chance to remain in the job to complete the plan that he made for the club which history shows worked. IMO changing coaches does not neccessaraly achieve the result that people think it might. South Adelaide and Richmond have both done that many times over and are in no better position as a result and perhaps some might suggest are actually in a worse position for having done so. I feel very strongly that if John Reid had been given more support from the club that South could well have won a flag under his leadership yet after a bunch of stupid politics - the same kind that is going on at North at the moment we will never know what the result could have been.

My suggestion for North Members and Supporters is in a difficult time to look to the ultimate legend of the SANFL Barrie Robran for the answer. If Barrie is backing Jarman then back him to the hilt, if Barrie thinks he should move on then maybe that should happen. Who really knows the true passion that is the North Adelaide footy club than the king Barrie Robran? Sometimes the answers to a clubs future lie in its past and my 2c worth is that turning to Barrie Robran and having him guide the club through its current troubles is the best course of action to take rather than the current bashing each other up on the internet and the media that has been the story of this year for the club. South have done this how many times since 1964 and I can assure you it is a dark place to be that you dont want the NAFC to end up at through stuff like this!

Let it be known that North supporters
A- Dont want anyones sympathy
B- Definately dont need a South supporters opinion of whether the Coach should go/stay.

Well done to South yesterday but Sojourner put your energy into lifting your club above 8th spot and dont worry about North.

If it's true (and I am not doubting anyone on here), that Jarman rang 5AA pretending to be a disgruntled Power supporter, then we are a joke. He is like the Doctor Jeckyl and Mr Hyde of the SANFL. One minute he is an inspirational coach, the next acting like a clown. Unfortunately it looks like Doctor Jeckyl has taken over.
