Fev signs a 3 yr deal

Well done Fev, and hopefully you keep your ass out of trouble

And on another news Shaun Grigg & Mark Austin (ex Glenelg) have also resigned until the end of 2010....

Nah! Now he can relax and concentrate on pissing up and just pissing!
He knows where his priorities are.
It must have been hard being on his best behaviour for so long during the negotiations...

Yep, he and Aker actually give us something to talk about. Most others just bring out the same garbage.

Loved what he said to the Bulldogs water boy on Sunday, that was pure gold.

Ahhh the modern AFL footballer - blackmailing their clubs into giving them more money.
If you wish to be treated like a professional in your negotiations Fev, act like one when you're not in negotiations.

He gives us something to talk about, you're right. But unlike Acker, he doesn't bring anything new to the table, he doesn't talk about issues, he's just a bogan lucky enough to have footy talent so that people think he's worth talking about.

It wasn't Carlton telling people he was talking to Sydney.
It wasn't Sydney telling people that.
And while he didn't want to talk about it himself, he was happy to fuel the fire, while his management used the threat of departure as leverage.

Along the lines of what Akermanis apparently heard. A Bulldogs trainer came out to give Brian Lake a drink and Fev said to him hang around here because I am just about to put on a show.

and he did !!

Fairy nuff DW, but when it comes to Swann, what he says goes. No-one pisses in Swanns pockets not even the Fev.
Can't recall Fev actually saying anthing about Sydney either...a lot if it was just pure media bullshite !

You're right, it was media beat-up, fed by Fev's management. They wouldn't've put it out there if he didn't want it.
Other footballers do the same thing and it peeves me.

It was raised on the Footy show by Sam Newman that there was a report he was talking to Sydney, and he smirked and denied it somewhat hesitantly.
When the question was rephrased to ask whether his management was talking to Sydney he smirked angain and said he wouldn't know.

I assume that segment was in fact scripted to suit his needs.

EDIT: Yes I agree SJABC that that does qualify as media beat up.

Could be, but that's media beat up. Fev was contracted, so if Sydney approached him or his management or vice versa then he'd be in big trouble....
