Depending on what your policy was, Heath Younie would be too old to recruit.
He's been a great player for North- one of the smartest blokes we've got.
I have a lot of respect for Heath as a player & a leader at North.

So, as a North supporter, you would pick a player that is already at North?

So as a Glenelg supporter, you're too stupid to realise that I was questioning why Big Phill would want to recruit Heath Younie?

So, as a North supporter questioning a Glenelg supporter for questioning a North supporter for questioning a Centrals supporter...um...what was the topic again?

If Big Phil wants Younie, let him have Younie. The thread is titled "who would you pick?". Based on your line of questioning...are you too stupid to understand that based on the title of this thread, posters can then opt to pick players that they would pick?

Just out of interest, who would you pick Punky, given that's what the thread is about?

Has there been a mid-week trade I dont know about?
If so. Welcome to the club Rudolph. Round 23 we can match him up on Grima.

I pretty much picked Younie, and most other selected, on the basis of players you would pick to come stright into your league side in season 2009. I also didn't consider any players I considered would be drafted into the AFL next year. If that wasn't to be the case, I would have picked Matt Wright over Heath but I would be very suprised if the Walkerville junior doesn't get picked up. I went with Heath for his experience and goal kicking abilities.

I haven't seen enough footy to comment- I play for & coach an Amateur side, so would not be well versed as to who's who in the zoo, & where they play.
But I know North need;
a Ruckman
a CHB
a FB
a FF (Chambers)
a hard as nails ball carrier/centerman.

so you would go for a complete up the middle players punky, you have chosen 1 in Chambers, which others in the SANFL would you like to strengthen things up.

I am away for a couple of weeks fishing in Darwin, I'll give mine when I get back.

be good to each other while I'm away.

You seem fit to comment quite often on this site, despite not having seen enough footy to comment.

A contradiction?

yeah I know, thanks.
Just use common sense really.
Also, I do see North when I can, & keep as informed as I can about North- it's the other sides I don't bother keeping up with.

I think Sully might slip under the radar of a few opposition supporters Centurion. Thing is, I reckon he will EASILY win our B&F and will more than likely poll the most votes for us in the Magarey. Wouldn't be suprised if he is up towards the top of the leaderboard come the last few rounds. I think other clubs supporters generally look towards Thommo or Nutta Callinan and even Schelly but Chad has improved out of sight in terms of his ball winning ability and use of the pill when in possession. He just seems to go about his business week in week and loves to now run and carry the ball and without doubt has far and away been our most consistent performer this year (along with Thommo when not missing due to suspension)

GO SULLY...
