And it's exactly where most people predicted we would be at the start of the season .... a finals spot would be exceeding expectations (mine anyway)
So no need for hysteria IMO - this year was always about rebuilding.
That's not to say the last 5 weeks have been acceptable, they haven't been - apart from almost beating the Hawks.
Round 9 debacle v West Coast and the fade-outs v Brisbane & Collingwood make me more alarmed than losing yesterday by 2 goals. Port played really well I thought - especially Motlop & Pearce showed too much skill for our lads.
Not exactly "flat track bulies". It is much simpler than that. The game plan means the Crows win well when they dominate the midfield and fall over when they can't.
It inevitably lands them in the middle of the pack, once the other coaches to woke up to what was going on and worked out how to counter it if they had the players to do it.
