How seriously can you use those figures because Because more than 1 in 2 games in melbourne are two victorian teams and that pushes the figures up

yeah collingwood have to only play 4 interstate teams in melb this year out of 18 games in melb. freo, westcoast, sydney and Crows. 4 teams that all have good traveling crowds. . but what are the averages of western bulldogs, north melbourne and melbournes crowds Vs interstate teams.

Robert walls has been going on about crowds at port games all year on ON THE COUCH. he better go on about the demons and Roos game tommorow night bacause Both those clubs need the gate takings more than port do.

I really don't think we can question Victorian supporters' ability to turn up to sporting events, no matter how rubbery the attendance figures are.

The AFL go one about attendance figures but I really don't think they're all that worried about it. If they were, they would have changed the Geelong v Bulldogs game from the Cattery. The AFL want people watching on TV. That's more important to them, otherwise why wouldn't they have built a stadium that seats more than 50,000 at Docklands after bulldozing Waverly?

Sunday games always have lower attendances than other games. If the North v Dees match was played on Friday night they would have got a lot more than 21,000 to the game.

It was great to see my club pull in 86,000 on Friday night (with a bit of help from the Cats of course) ... although how you get 86,000 from a "sellout" in a stadium that holds 90,000 plus is a bit of a mystery to me, but there you go.

A resounding No....

We are not talking average crowds for the round.FFS,1 V 3 and Essendon V Collingwood doesnt happen every week to help you try and deflect attention from a disgraceful effort by Roos and Dees fans.

Really,Port V Freo (13 V 14) at lunch time on Sunday in Adelaide getting 19,000 stacks up well against the Roos V Dees numbers.

i paid to see North Melbourne play once this year, it was the draw at Telstra DOOM. it was the worst game of footy i have seen for a looong time. Suffice to say i wont be rushing to see them play again in a hurry.

im with you CN but only to watch the strippers.

I went to the Ess v Coll game at the MCG on the weekend, the passion those two groups of supporters have against each other is absolutely amazing. Essendon supporters outnumbered Collingwood supporters about 6-1. Amazing atmosphere.
