Brett Backwell Glenelg 14
Byron Murphy Glenelg 14

While many haven't made mention of him when it comes to a Centrals players Magarey Medal chances, Chad O'Sullivan, might just slip under the radar of a few people and although he might not have 3 or 4 "3 VOTES" to this stage of the year, you might find he will have a few 2's and 1 votes. I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up being right up and there come the end of the night and IMO will be the highest polling Dogs player. I think that The Bays and Double Blues might just have too many consistant players share the votes amongst themselves

Paul Thomas is obviously up there despite missing 3 games through suspension and surprisingly, despite missing about 9 consecutive games this year, Ian Callinan is only about 1/2 a dozen best on ground "5 Votes" shy of the leader in the SAFooty player of the year. One would assume the winner of this prestigious award from this great footy web site will probably come from the top 1/2 dozen players. So based on Spelly's fact about this being a good guide for the eventual Magarey winner, I'm going to say that if Sully doesn't win it to become Centrals 6th medalist, I reckon that either James Allan or maybe Adam Fisher might take the bikkies in the night...

GO SULLY, KEEP UP THE CAREER BEST FORM...

Also Fisher is currently 8/1 and Ty Allen is 20/1 for the Magarey, Ive jumped on those two as they seem a bit of value if Glenelg keep winning looking at the votes they've got so far in the SAFooty player of the year.

Fisher doesnt get votes and at 8/1 is under the odds imo
Matty Wade is a star and deserves more respect from the forum family!

Yep, agreed.

Fisher will not win the MM...I think Glenelg's best chance is Allen, though Ben Kane, Backwell and Fish will obviously pinch some votes. Cranston may surprise but the umpires generally don't appreciate the good ruckmen...

From Sturt I think Sheedy and Chambers are a good show, and Centrals have Paul Thomas (though ineligible) that normally is a big poller of votes...

Jimmy Allan is an absolute gun, but I reakon his ability to rack up the stats would not always be noticed by the umpires...he seems to get such high numbers, but does not always have a resounding effect on the team's performances. North's up and down season may cost him a few votes.

Still too hard to tip at this stage.
