Another win to the Bays, must be a fit lot of players, last few weeks has been pretty tight at half time and apart from the slip up against South, they seem to be running over sides after half time

The boundary umpire today threw his shoulder out in a boundary throw in
He was the ump thats called the giraffe[he is that tall]
I asked the other boundary ump today what injury he had
" HE THREW HIS SHOULDER OUT."
I replied
" that hurts."
he replied
" AND A PLAYER TOLD HIM TO F..K OFF OF THE GROUND."

To the Norwood or Glenelg player who alledgedly said this, thats a very poor comment

Bays awesome today

Not a bad win with four first choice players out: Sugars, Bode, Ruwuldt and McCormack. Norwood are a pretty fair side and you can almost parallel their 2008 season with our 2007 season. Can really see Norwood mounting a serious challenge next year.

Reasonably impressed with Phillips who when you add Trotter, Doyle and Gallagher is a pretty fair centre square set up.

Walker was OK on a pretty fair player - Rudulph and when allowed space showed he has good skills.

Big Challenge next week, Centrals will be desperate to record a win agaisnt one of teh other top three teams so i can see them bouncing back hard next week.

Discussed with this BAyman post game and despite the results I still rate them as a good cahcne to be there on the first Sunday in October.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

c'mon tassie you can't say mccormack is a first choice player as he hasn't played all year, well last weeks stinging loss proved to be a catalyst that stung them into action this week & the only fault i could find was they took the foot of the pedal & allowed norwood the last 4 goals in the game & a special thanks to sportsbet for giving us $1.50
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

Mate if he was fit he'd be in the ones, we didn't recruit him to play 2s footy.

Good thing about todays win is that it officially sews up the double chance for us.

Norwood is its own worst enemy. Made some very bad decisions up forwards and always tried very hard to find a sideways option - particularly near the 50m arc, and more so in the first quarter than the others. Looked to have given up the ghost completely in that final term; Glenelg's run on was due mostly to Norwood players dropping their heads.

Full marks to the Bays for putting in a solid effort after last week's schemozzle. Didn't look especially pretty at times but were pretty hard at it. Persisted far better and were able to capitalise when Norwood dropped its bundle in the fourth, putting the game well beyond doubt.

Not happy with letting Norwood get 4 goals in time on though. A four quarter effort is required in every game, regardless of the score.

Cheers to topsy & squawk for saying g'day.

tassie, i'll state again you CAN NOT say that mccormack is a first choice player as he didn't even play a trial match (internal yes) so we don't know how he would fit into the team the way it's going & tell me who in the team would he replace ?

ps, i've seen a number of 'big name/reputation recruits' over the years (at all clubs) that haven't made it....this year try biagi from wwt
