Or perhaps they did proof read the communications - making them look even more unprofessional!

He is the one who walked out without even advising the board when the going got a bit tough. He is the one who left a group of youngsters who idolised him high and dry.
As someone who has been perhaps overcritical at times,I beleive that the club is finally, at last !! ,on the right road and while it might take a while yet I think that better days will come with the direction the club is now taking. Give Sammy all the resources he requires, let him steer the ship the way he wants to and give the youngsters a crack.
Go panthers!

Spot on B&W, you'd think Jack would be thicker skinned than that & show alot more professionalism than what he did in walking out, especially on a supposedly 100k a yr contract up front!
I heard he was told to keep quiet on the reasons he left so the club can just move on without anymore negativity & he can then keep all moneys given to him, if not the club will seek re-inbercement.
Obviously Jack couldn't help himself, it will be interesting wheather this goes any further from South Adelaides perspective.

Jack was not paid anywhere near $100k he was being paid monthly and he was paid up to date, he resigned no more $ handed over, that's it, no secret deals no contracts just a normal employee/employer agreement. Southee, the club did all it could to keep Jack the club didn't interfere with his coaching, this was his call and a poor one at that, the club was stunned to say the least at his sudden up and off departure. No conspiracy therories no behind the scenes medling, see prevous extensive post on this site if you still don't get it otherwise ring SAFC CEO and he is more than happy to discuss this with members as per a recent meeting with some club members earlier this week.

Actually, I'm not quite sure but I think it is "free rein" as allowing the horse to find its own way in a place it knows well.southee wrote:Sorry, fixed.....Adelaide Hawk wrote:Freudian slip?southee wrote:Cahill came to the club being told "he had free ruins to call the shots".

Ease up man, it's not as if he didn't have the likes of Cunningham, Ebert, Evans, Giniver, Hodges, Delaney and R.Smith to name a few. Some would say that with what he had at his disposal he was expected to win 10. From what I understand some of those blokes don't hold him in the same regard as what the record books might suggest.Dog_ger wrote:Everything aside.
