If Gill isn't a big man, then I agree.

Alleway is a better player than Gill. Gill can do more spectacular things but i'd take Alleway every time for his consistent outstanding contributions.

Absolutely devastating. Should have had the game put away by half-time. Late goal to Alleway before halftime, even though it was only North's second, you could tell was a critical turning point of the game.

Our foot skills were shocking beyond comprehension. Of all the weeks to drop Schwarze, why this one when we are up against a team with three strong tall forwards?

Only positive is it may have been a learning challenge for Broadbent.

Umpiring was abysmal, but basically came down to three crucial decisions - 2 resulted in North goals in thrid quarter, one that should have given us a shot in the last when 5 points down.

Proves how good Cicca is - even half fit we probably scored more than 3/4 of our goals and looked fa more dangerous when he was on the ground.

Also proves how piss poor Eagles recruiting has been the last 2 years when were desparate for 2 or 3 more in the Cicca type mould , as our midfield relies on bit players , or too old or too young ; take your pick ! For Fuller to say in the paper that all we can do now is play more kids , is pathetic & tells that hes lost any idea of rejuvenation for his coaching style / gameplan / motivation . Ron its time up old chap !

H78

Despite this being a public forum this is not the place for disciplined elected officials of Football clubs to go sprouting their views ad nauseum on their respective football clubs - especially on important issues of recruiting, coaches futures and new CEOs. I for one applaud CD for maintaining his discipline and still posting on here.

Without having met the man I am sure at the appropriate forum - board meetings - he will express his views. I for one do not wish to read of them on here.

What benefit of it is it to the WWT FC to air dirty laundry on here?
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

MacGregor was in the game??? He was absolutely towelled up by Alleway from the start and he wasn't injured then. Other than conceding almost every one on one contest to Alleway the only other option MacGregor had was to give away a free kick. Poor old Kenny, it even looked like the SANFL had passed him by on Saturday.
.

Well let me put it this way DREBIN .Kenny came off put on his track suite top and was running up and down the boundary get watched by a club offical perhaps medical staff or fitness personal .
Most of the eagles backline was getting towelled after 1/2 time or 3/4 time Drebin .Before that most of your forwards followed your seconds performance by kicking points .Then again at least they could get the bloody ball not like the EAGLEs Forwards.

I think that's a bit rough on CD Holden he would have to be the best board member of any of the SANFL clubs .
You seem to be in the know Holden why not approach others on the board and get the ball rolling !!

Yep, i realise that. My point was if i could only choose one i'd take Alleway every time. No disrespect to Gill who is a brilliant player though.

I think the report was justified, but commonsense has prevailed...if Schwarze got off, there was no way in hell Gill would've been given weeks...
