It's always time to blood juniors, no matter how well your team is doing.

Which has always been a big plus for Ron fuller Stokes being the best junior to be brought up from the seconds .

I to have noticed a pattern of posters going the sledge yet not being willing to name there own side in their profile. If people are to gutless to support their colours in public then what does that really suggest about the content of their posts?

Very good point. As matter of fact, I just had a go at someone on BigFooty for exactly the same thing. I actually used the word "gutless" :)

All these heroes gobbing off about clubs and players without having the guts to name their own allegiances. Pathetic.

I just haven't done so. The option wasn't there to begin with, and I just think that's it's fairly obvious to all who I support, anyway.

From my perspective;

The season is NOT OVER
but
it will take a massive turnaround from here
& some other results to fall right
to get in.

9 wins and best percentage may be enough

With West & South in the next three games (along with Sturt)
we should stay in touch
but we will need to beat both Norwood & Port in the final three weeks to
make up the nine victories.

Glenelg at Woodville is the other match.

For mine, best we can do NOW is suport the team the best way we can
Save the reviews and any recriminations for when all hope is really lost.

Totally agree Phil (and also with your avatar.)

It is going to be very tough and will really test everyone at the club
It is hard not to be very angry though - which is good in a way as we are not accepting of our current position.

I'm sure Westies believe they can win this week - the challenge is ours to get it right!

We have been doing that this year, judging by team lists. With the U19's % of top, and 17s in the 5, means that we have a depth of good talent at the club.

Maybe , just maybe CD & Phil H , the majority of members that attend most games have seen a gradual decline starting since the first home game of 07 , when we unvailed the flag & proceeded to get embarrassed by a switched on , average Port ! Two good recruits came that year , but our lost players were in hindsight to become key , with the flow-on to this years lost players just accentuating the problem to our current stage now where Fuller says in the paper today all we are going to do now is play kids ( who cares if their ready , coz Ive run out of any ideas........braindead ! ! ) ........ My point gentlemen is our decline in the last 2 years has been like a skin cancer ; a lack of attention to detail , some male arrogance & complacency , & we find ourselves in trouble . Inaction & your wait & see approach has gotten us where we are . The fact the recruiting drive is off & running is surely also an admission of the types of issues we are failing to get right in the past 2 seasons ! You wont tip the bucket on Ron , & thats fair enough in your public positions , but the first sign of fixing a problem is facing your mistakes honestly , & Fuller will not do that . His quotes of late have an air of resignation & inevitability to them , why not go now Ron & we can do what Sturt did with Phillips ie. caretaker coach ........ & let Joffa have a crack , while we get the right man for the job ( longterm ! ) .

Yes many fans have declined since part way through 07/08 .But us faithful ones are still attending games .And yes like stated at Prospect many of us feel like storming the Bastille .We as in members(I AM) or fans/supporters need a sign from the WWTFC whether on or off field that things are improving or about to improve .
Due to other reasons I do not "GO BACK" to the club after the game. For the President to come out and say what has been reported on SAFOOTY is falling on my deaf ears .I am not the problem there are problems at the club and as a member I want action taken ASAP to turn the club around !!!
WE are not members of West Adelaide or South Adelaide (not meaning to demean either ) and will not accept being bottom. We are members of the WOODVILLE WEST TORRENS FOOTBALL CLUB.And we do not like what is happening at our club at present change it or face what will happen .
Whether its storming the Bastille or me doing a Vladimir Lenin and getting the members fired up .A change is needed .So WWTFC do it NOW!!!!

The bottom line is, it's all about getting right on the park. What was the difference between the Central match and the others?
