Anythings possible. I don't know what was said before the Central game a few weeks back, because it hasn't been said basically since the last Thebarton match.

Oh yeah, just had a thought. The only way we will score anything next week is through a 60-65 metre kick from someone like Salter. With the current method of delivery into the forward line, the 15 West Adelaide backmen will gobble them up.

I think that they have the lease. Probably not the last match at Thebby.

Actually think that this will be a ripper of a game! The Eagles are clearly going to be looking to bounce back from yesterdays loss, Westies have won only the one match, yet are clearly due for another win. Should be a close game on one of the best SANFL grounds we have. The head says the Eagles by 3-4 goals, the heart says Westies by less than two goals. :? :D

Thebarton Oval will have 2-3 games a year as part of the new agreement with SAAFL and the West Torrens council which is going to spend $22 million on making it a first class community centre over the next ten years (source, The Messenger). The Eagles also wish to retain it as a summer training base as well.

It's the understatement of the year to say that we need to win this game, and the next few after this one.

Heres a thought CD & Phil H , why dont you go around this week at richmond oval & actually ask Eagles members if Fuller should be replaced at years end . A simple answer of yes or no , then move on to the next member ; it wont take too long with such a small crowd . Now that would be a proactive initiative giving the Board real feedback on just if we are ready for a fresh start or not . You cant lose , its free & would take very little effort , with the bonus of ACTUAL interaction at the coalface of our club ! Or do you guys already know the response ? Now that would be reality if you dragged President Les along too , anyway , what do you say , are you game or what ?

So you want Phil and Col to attend the U17/U19's instead of the league game ?

OK then...here's a thought.

As Col is an official employee at the WWTFC, his asking of such a question would probably result in his sacking. Phil H as far as I know doesn't work for the WWTFC but it tied up pretty heavily with the media, so therefore a conflict of interest.

Why don't YOU, start a petition in "Getting Ronnie Sacked", as from what I gather from your posts that is what you want. Start off at Richmond, then head to Thebby, and see how many signatures and names you get. Present it to your CEO. Hey Presto !!

I know I have been posting a lot on this subject. But would prefer for it to be handled behind closed doors at the club rather than online .
And it would be best at the end of the year unless someone jumps first.
Cd could not do what you ask holden as he would get the sack IMHO !!

Well done to CD on having the members in mind in regards to his input on this forum . But my main point lads is Fullers support is very thin from the players , members & fans . Lets just deal in facts then . Firstly , the players havent produced anywhere near what the club ( Board & Supporters ) exspect in the last 2 years . Secondly , in that time the recruiting has been " C " grade . Third , talking to fans & members during the week & at games , theres a hell of a lot of disenchantment in regards to Fuller , gamestyle , recruits ( either not good enough , not being signed by us or leaving altogether ! ) and a lack of planning after the 06 flag . Now with FACTS please feel free to debate to the contrary or maybe agree ? Either way these ARE facts & Ron obviously after 8 years + 2 or 3 with U17s , is well under the pump ! The real rubbing point for most of us fans is the pace of our slip down . Other clubs see it as natural for a club like us . Well Im in the trenches with Mickyj all the --cking way on this one ; I dont want it , I dont accept it & Im not putting up with it !

Far be it for me to comment on a club other than my own, so I'll just comment on those issues/matters relevant to all clubs ... Firstly Holden, I applaud your passion and love of your club, no clubs supporters should sit by idly if they believe their club is underperforming in an area.

That said, you need to go about it the right way IMHO ... The supporters can't appoint a coach directly, and effectively thats what you're looking for by having your clubs hierachy conduct a matchday survey among your fans ... The supporters CAN appoint the board (who in turn appoint the coach), and this is where we have our chance to have a say in the direction of our club - Once that board is appointed though, as supporters we agree to abide by the decisions and actions they take to make a club the best they believe it can be.

Trust me mate, as a Norwood supporter I've spent the last 3 years dealing with this type of thing and it can be hard to keep emotion in check ... However structures must be adhered to, else chaos ensues.
