Sturt must be favourites for the flag

Postby LBT » Sat Jul 19, 2008 4:56 pm

Well given that they just keep smashing sides and Glenelg having a mini-implode i think Sturt will finish top and waltz straight into They Grand Final.... I cannot see them dropping another game.

I said so after the match at Woodville - the only other win at Woodville since 1988 was in 2002.

its one loss and i would think Glenelg should still be clear flag favourites. I know most bays fans have been trying to get rid of the favourite tag for some weeks now but its here to stay!

Sturt only had to beat Central once in 2002.

I thought that Sturt were the flag favs ever since their morale victory against Glenelg at the Bay with half of their side out.
Looks like they might go one ahead of North in the flag count after 2008!

Early days, early days. Listening to RPH today I thought that maybe time is running out for Centrals this year and then I gained composure. The doggies will be up there and anyone who wants to win a flag this year will need to have their measure.
