And that list of yours might be from last year Sabre...

You had Darren Pfieffer listed with Adelaide... He's at Carlton

And John Meesen at the Crows as well, who is now at Melbourne...

BTW , Meesen was also a mini draft selection, from Geelong way originally I beleive ?

And I think Cleve Hughes and Hugh Minson are now officially of AFL lists, they have retired have they not ???

Gavin Hughes has retired and will play with the legs next year

LBT...

As I posted it, I realised that Tassie's post was adding the players you missed from your list, so I wouldn't go throwing stones about getting stuff wrong mate   (Joking BTW)

I then realised that I forgot the 2 West Coast Eagles lads from Centrals so juts edited and changed the content of my post to that...

P.S - Both you and Tassie forgot Ed Curnow - Rookie listed player at the Crows...

P.P.S - Is Tom Logan a Glenelg native, I thought he was recruited to Brisbane from the NT, but I'm happy to stand corrected ???

SABRE...

I think you need to stipulate that any player aligned to the SANFL via the mini draft should NOT be included in lists as they are only allocated to that club through the AFL draft system. I'd say you can still include rookie listed players as well, they are on an AFL list aren't they ?

MAGAREY LEGEND...

Tony Armstrong is not a Rooster native I don't believe, he was just picked by North in the mini draft.

Yeah you're probably right Big Phil. Could be stale.
I just dragged it off something that came off NFC Forum a while back.
If someone from Leggyland can supply the latest goods, go for it.
CP perhaps ?

Curnow came via the mini draft. Logan played juniors at the bay befor he went to the N.T, hence when he returned he was assigned to Glenelg

Well, the Blood's team is a bit short of key position players, although Ben Rutten is a useful full back and Scott Welsh can play full forward. The defence is OK, with Tyson Edwards squeezed to a back pocket. A bit of muscle at half-back with Beau Waters (WCE) and I suppose Sam Fisher from St Kilda will give us plenty of run. Chris Schmidt (Brisbane) can have the other back flank. Adam hartlett, if he's not injured, can be CHF and we've got a few forwards. Shaun Rusling in a pocket, Nathan Eagleton on a forward flank with Stephen Tiller (Bulldogs) and Luke Jericho there as well. Perhaps Byron Schammer might also fit in there.

Cameron Wood (Collingwood) can ruck, but we're a bit weak in the on-ball brigade. i suppose we can get by with Adam Cooney and Shane Tuck, with Jordan Russell (Carlton) and Tim Schmidt (Sydney) to back thenm up.

Oh, I forgot. We'll have to fit Jason Porplyzia in somewhere too.

I can't work out why we can't win a game the last few years....... :(

A few more impressive names than that from the Port Magpies as well Duchy...

Scott Thompson, Andrew McLeod, Graham Johncock - Adelaide Crows
Cain Ackland - Carlton (not 100% sure ?)
Shane Wakelin, Alan Didak - Collingwood
Corey Enright - Geelong
Aaron Davey, Isaac Weetra - Melbourne
Peter Burgoyne, Shaun Burgoyne, Michael Wilson, Brett Ebert, Warren Tredrea - Port Power
Aaron Fiora - St. Kilda
Brad Ebert - West Coast

There's a few handy players there hey... :D

Nup, he was recruited from the TAC U18 competition, North only picked him up in the mini draft.

Oops.. I just got Cleve mixed up with Gavin mate, I knew that Cleve was at Richmond. I I hate to say it mate, but you're confusing Hugh (which is what I said) Minson with his big brother Will at the Doggies... Fair enough though, they sound the same don't they

LBT... I stand corrected on both mate, I thought I remember hearing someone talk about Curnow being a Glenelg lad, obviously I heard wrong

Ha ha ha ha ha

I don't get paid a red cent for my "volunteer" radio work... :(

I do it for the love of the game and because I think that I have a pretty good knowledge of the Doggies and everything else SANFL and, if I don't say so myself ( ), come across on the radio as knowledgable, non bias and informative.

I love doing it mate and would like to go further with it one day, but unfortunately, I don't think there will be a sudden career change into the electronic media :? Not unless it gives me an all expenses paid compnay car, laptop and matches my current salary  ( I doubt it :( )
