FFS...

Like Ian said, how many times does this point have to be raised on new topics on here... :?

I thought a certain Bays fan mentioned that no Tigers fans were getting ahead of themselves and realise they haven't really acheived anything as yet in the whole scheme of things and that finals are a totally different kettle of fish

Tend to disagree with that Bays fan now...

I thought there was already an appropriate thread along these lines already open, can't you carry on over on that one

Let's just give the Bays the flag now, call the season to an end I say. They are certainties for the Premiership, don't bother anyone else :?

He just said he was hoping for it, he didn't say it was going to happen.

I hope "North - Premiers 208" will be the headline, sure as hell doesn't mean its going to happen though!

But exactly what we read will depend upon who authors the article.

For example, if Zac Milbank gets the gig, we could well read "Brilliant Bays Premiers in 2008".

But if Warren Partland has the honour, the headline will more likely read "Umps help Bays to 2008 Flag". The article itself would make liberal references to the free kick count, but not to the style of play employed by Glenelg's opponent.

Should Rucci be forced to write it by the sports editor (there's no way he'd volunteer for the job), the headline would read something like "Mouse Lucky To Play in Bays 2008 Premiership Team", and the text would be given over to reasons why Mouse should have been rubbed out several weeks earlier.

Yep Phil... I am embarassed by my defence of glenelg supporters last week... and then this title/topic. I was one who kept saying we were all really apprehensive of even thinking it... and then I see this. I for one am also hopeful of this outcome BUT think that anyone who dares start spruking it... will put the mockers on it... and risk looking pretty silly come Oct.

Well joelie, it's good to see some Bays fans have a realistic comprehension of not only where their team is at, but where in fact the SANFL season is at as a whole. There you go Dutchy, that's post number 6 mate, I like interacting on here...
