South Supporter - re B Lade

Postby Mark_Beswick » Mon Jul 07, 2008 4:52 pm

Can any south or norwood supporter confirm the jumper number worn by B. D. Lade on the weekend - I was unable to attend and his jumper is not listed in the budget for the game

Any help appreciated

personally i dont think it will make a real lot of difference.I will make the journey anyway.

By the way is there any truth in the rumour doing the rounds that Sturt may play a few more games at Murray bridge or Mt Barker next year due to soaring costs of staging matches at Unley?

My understanding is that the Club is in continuing negotiations re the arrangements regarding the Hire of Unley. Considering the stumbling blocks the club had with the Castle Tavern saga I not expecting any quicker results this time around.

In the longer term a permanent move to Mt Barker may be good, along with Centrals to Gawler and North or Norwood to Modbury perhaps?
