Are the doggies imploding?

Postby doggies4eva » Tue May 20, 2008 12:35 pm

Well everyone else is getting a chance to implode, why not the doggies?

They have already lost as many games this season as last season, they struggled to beat West (and evryone beats West). Rumour has it that Roy is pulling his hair out trying to get them to play 4 quarters of footy.

When did Roy grow some hair? or is he pulling out one of the Gowans hair.

Well if an explosion was a pop, then an implosion must be a suck, so I guess what you are asking is Do the Doggies Suck.

I have said all year we have been playing some crap football, we have been winning because the opposition has been playing worse than us.

Glenelg and Sturt are streets above where we ar currently at.

The eagles thumping us yesterday, well that was just embarrasing :?

Wake up DOGS before the season is over before it even starts to warm up

North aren't doing themselves any favours to pinch it from us by losing to Port and then play your mob this week, Bayman...

Norwood are probably going to just make up the numbers if they stay in the 5 and the Eagles, if they continue to play the way they did yesterday, ould have to win the majority of their remaining games to get a top 3 spot.

I think that North will do enough to stay in the 5 and the Redlegs will probably drop out. I think we will just do enough to hang on to 3rd spot and it will be up to the Eagles and North to battle out 4th and 5th respectively.

For mine, the top 5 will finish up like this...

Glenelg
Sturt
Centrals
Eagles
North

As long as we can hold 3rd spot and that important double chance, who knows what will happen come finals time ??? We are proven performers and yes, we are playing crap at the moment and Glenelg and Sturt are a step above the rest, we are still capable of bringing the right brand of footy to the table that is capable of winning games in finals footy. Still a long way to go, but we are capable. Starts for us with West this week.

GO U DOGGIES...

Yeah, I know Bayman...

I think (and bloody hope) you are right but in saying that, with the inconsistant performances we have put up pretty much all year, I'm still not 100% convinced. Win this week against Westies, get things back on track then a couple of handy inclusions in the side in coming weeks with C.Gowans, Slattery and Thommo back from suspension and hopefully that will help with a return to form.
