Now that's just SILLY. I demand that both teams get back on the field, and this time produce a result which doesn't thumb its nose at my conception of reality.

Interesting call BT. Having not seen the game, I don't know exactly what you mean by thuggery, but last week I thought the Bays got away from the Dogs largely 'cos the Dogs lost their discipline when the Tigers got a run on; this was reflected in the free kick count.

Sounds like the ill discipline got a bit worse this week, and cost the dogs even more?

He sure did .
Can you tell me Spelly what the hell is going on with that TEAM .What happened from last week to this week how did they turn it around .With the largest ever winning margin against centrals and the first H&W win for years !!!
I am still stunned from that win .The whole day was like watching the Eagles from say 2000 including the game style of the seconds .
What the hell happened in a week at Oval AVE.

I meant "how on earth did he mark it!" :)

Well, your guess is as good as mine. I dunno, perhaps in your post, Leigh Treeby maybe the answer. ;)

Speaking of records:
Biggest winning margin by Eagles over Central (84), previous biggest was 76 points in the 2006 Grand Final
Lowest score by Central against Eagles 5.8, previous lowest was 6.8 (44) in Round 5 2005
Lowest score by Central at Woodville, previous lowest was 5.12 (42) against Woodville in Round 12 1966
The lowest second quarter score by Central against Eagles, previous lowest was 0.1 (1) in Round 23 1999
It was the first scoreless quarter that Central has had at Woodville
Previous biggest losing margin against Central at Woodville was 63 points in Round 6 1993

The old one handed mark with one arm being held behind his back by a doggies player trick !!

And the Ole fall down everytime a Centrals player(or thug as yelled out by certain fans) goes to thump me trick by rimmington until the umpire wakes up and gives the side a free !! Some WWe wrestlers would be proud of the lad!!Hell I am proud of the lad .what a pick up from victoria.

I think the worst thing for the dogs was it awoke the one forward who was losing his spot Adam Grocke.after that he was the Grocke of old.Was nice to see the old Thuggery tricks not work and get turned on its head by a former Vic player called Rimington .

Basically, a number of players tried to pick fights, and do even more bumping than usual. Slade did a crude bump on Grocke, ironed him out, and Slade was reported. A number of dust-ups occured, Rimington was put down a few times, Dabrowski and Jason MacKenzie (I think) went toe-to-toe, all in the space of about 5 minutes after half time.

Probably the best 4 qtr performance by the Eagles since the premiership, the way the game was played today made me feel like i was watching the 2006 grand final all over again, the intensity was outstanding, the pressure on the opponents (even just by getting touch on them as they were disposing) didn't let up from first bounce to last and the composure when the heat was turned up early in the 3rd quarter was almost perfect.....but it will all count for nothing if we dont back it up again next week.
Funny game footy, certainaly wouldn't be writing the dogs off after a couple of uncarachteristic performances, we saw today how quickly the tide can turn from one week to the next.
Trust the process.
