I thought Gilles was unlucky to get dropped really, but in saying that I am not sure he is in the top 5 every week which is where you should be if you want to get back up to league.

Shows the difference between Amateurs and SANFL. Gilles was supposed to be one of the best amateurs in Australia and he can't get a league game at the bottom club!

What's Westies record at Norwood in recent years? IIRC they've done relatively (note emphasis) well there.

I think that you may be right Pseudo i think we have won 3 of the last 4 there  . Maybe we should play all our games there if that record is true :)

In my time following footy Westies have often done alright at the Parade ... They smashed us back in 2006 and won in 2005 ... Also won there earlier this decade when Scotty Welsh kicked a swag, don't think the oval holds too many fears for them (or anyone else these days).

I hope the NFC welcomes Steven Bailey back to Coopers' Stadium in the true Norwood spirit.

Good luck to both sides.

Was the Scotty Welsh game at the Adelaide Oval?

I'm not sure whether he kicked a bag, but I remember him going on to the ball in the last quarter and picking up about 15 posssessions for the quarter.

I reckon he kicked 5 or 6, most of which came in the second half

Norwood has a pretty good line up on paper with a few quality INS including Kris Massie from the Crows...

I think the Legs at home look far too strong for Andy Collin's Bloods side and after freshening up during the bye last week, I think Trevor Hill has way too much firepower up forward and a strong midfield to easily account for a struggling West Adelaide outfit.

My Tip - Norwood by 72 points...

Wouldn't be suprised to see Taylor Walker kick another big bag and between himself and Vlatko, kick 15 goals alone...

GO U DOGGIES...

Scott Welsh kicked 9 for the Eagles reserves at the parade in 2006 when the Eagles were bottom and beat Norwood who were top at the time ! (He was coming back from injury I think and West had the bye)

Handy inclusion for that game !!!!!
