very surprising that paul has been reported twice as he usually isn't that type of player (doing stupid things) but i don't think it'll hurt central as they are playing wwt & west in their next 2 games
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

I think he was a victim of circumstances.

First the stupid umpire runs into him and pays a free for it.

Then when the dogs are coming back he gets held down on the ground - no protection from the umps. He throws an arm out to break the hold and contacts the other players head with the back of his hand.

In the context of the game I think the appalling umpiring contributed to this incident.

Paul is not normally prone to such actions.

I think almost everyone is prone to such actions - most weeks we see a player lash out in that way to break an illegal hold. Unfortunately for Paul, he hit the bloke in the head. Que sera sera.

See, you are trying to run SA Footy.

About 4 years ago, on the Footy SA site, I labelled Dean Howard with the title THUG, after he gutlessly king-hit former Bays player, Heath Bullpit...

I think it is up to ME who I hand over the THUG award to...and I'm nominating Captain Short-Fuse, Paul Thomas.

Feel free to start your own award Pig Mill, but THUG is TB's term of notso endearment...

Is Psuedo's "mini-thug award" still Michael Curtis? Or is Dean Howard downgraded to that?

Luckily when Howard transferred to North we were able to rid him of his evil ways.

Methinks that mantle will be harder to replace than the thug one.

Funny you say that Dean Howard gutlessly hit Heath Culpitt seen as he run at him when he was looking after he had just punched Dean on that way past the all in melee that Dean was involved in at the time so i am with Big Phil on this one Todd Grima can keep the THUG title as Dean never deserved it.
