Pearce is aided by the James boys. Roger plays spasmodically now, Brett coaches from the sidelines when they're pumping teams, and Paul still tells the umpires what a wonderful job they are doing. Brads on the other hand, plays the ball and says nothing to the men in orange. Very similar to T.Thorpe and that's probably why those 2 blokes have won the last two Country Div Mail Medals.

Re: 2008 Hills Country
fair call... havent seen him play much but pearce is a solid player and has the luxury of playing in a side that wins games so he'll definatly rack up votes if he plays like you say he does.
talk from the nairne camp indicates that jon foster may poll strongly in the medal... any thoughts?

Echunga by 3-4 goals over Nairne. Torrens Valley by 6-7 goals against Cally
Older, wiser and been there. But still love that grassroots country footy.

Re: 2008 Hills Country
echunga's forward line is set to get a boost with the signing of brad white. he played for the team i support on the ep cummins kapinnie cougers of which craig hall, adam edwards and michael bawden played for and coached. white is a talented half forward who is as tough as they come. although short for a key forward he plays tall and is a major loss for our club.

Re: 2008 Hills Country
As at the same time as last year, it look's like it'll be an all blue GF again with Kersbrook and Kangarilla replaying the 2006 GF. Only Cheque Book Valley will be able to stop it. Kersbrook have picked up another big signing before the deadline and if he plays towards the end of the year, will be a very handy inclusion. Brookers with 2 weeks off now, have 14 returning to A's and B's for the Nairne match. Good Luck Razorback!

Wasn't cocky at all posters......just reckon it'll be a Kersbrook v Kangarilla GF.....perhaps those who disagree with me, could voice their opinions on which teams they think will front off in this year's GF. Then we could take a look back at the end of the season and see who picked the right teams.
Razorback, I'm dissapointed you're not playing on Frohling against Kersbrook. You both could discuss the art of spin bowling

Good team but would be 99.5 percent sure this won't happen.

Get back on topic please...this is garbage !!
Re: 2008 Hills Country
Tips for this round should be interesting.
Torrens Valley Vs Maccy - TV by a 25 + goals
Meadows Vs Nairne - This is the game of the round will be a very hard fought contest I'm going with Nairne - Have played some very good footy the last couple of weeks and are so close I think.
Echunga Vs Kangy - Close one again Depends on if it is Raining and if Echungas New recruits play and if Ty Habner isn't at Sturt I would say Echunga May come close.
Gumeracha Vs Callington - Cally by 10 goals +
And also expect Kersbrook to loose a couple in the coming rounds..... I wouldn't be suprised if Nairne beat Kersbrook next week.

Re: 2008 Hills Country
Nairne to get close to Kersbrook
Wouldn't be willing to put some hard earned on that Source??
As mentioned before Kersbrook will be just about at full tilt for the Rams Match and after having 2 weeks off.
With added depth, not sure the Brookers will spend all their petrol early, like they did last season. The Courier Cup GF should be a good test for them down at Yaroona.
