Same here, its pretty hard to get to a footy game on monday night unless your on holidays.

I think the gereatest argument you could mount against Footy on monday nights is that it will be competing with Top Gear!!

Yes - I couldn't miss Top Gear.
Mind you, my wife claims Jeremy Clarkson could be my long lost cousin, based on attitude alone.

I think monday night could work. Crowds might be down but if it was shown live on telly around Australia i think it has the potential to be higher rating than Friday night. After all mondays are the worst day at work, how good would it be to have something to look forward to on a Monday night.

As someone who has employed a few people, and had to sack some, I'd be all for no sporting events later in the weekend than Saturday night, and closing pubs, clubs, and bars, for the weekend by Saturday midnight! :wink:
