Big Phil, the percentages are calculated the Victorian way. ie teams which score more than their opponents have a % greater than 100%, which IMO is a crap (and lazy) way of calculating %.

I think that someone in the ABC head office has sanctioned templates to be used with all their various local footy programs, blithely ignoring the quaint eccentricities which make the local leagues what they are. Yet another symptom of AFL hegemony.

Can't blame the 'AFL hegemony', you yourself have said it is the ABC head office who has set the templates. You are correct. It was set up by an ABC person who has no idea about local eccentricities. You can't blame the AFL for that one.

Had to laugh at the Foxtel coverage last night of the Lions v Crows game up at the Gabba...

Pre-game, they obviosuly have the teams up on the telly and they went through Brisbane's side talking of the couple of late changes in the team...

Then Jason Dunstall had the Crows side to cover and went on to say... "Adelaide have NO CHANGES in their side this week" Huh !!??

Come on now, SURELY he would have been aware of the following changes, there were 3 of them FFS...

FFS, have a listen to your self mate, you are just being silly now...

I simply post the media mistakes on here not because of petty little mistakes like spelling and grammatical correction, more so misleading fans with incorrect information and photos. All I ask is that if the media are supposed to be the experts, then they should be professional enough to know who the pictures of players are in the photos, know who players are and report on correct and accurate information.

Stop worrying about having a go at me on here mate and concentrate on supporting your club and their plight to scrape into the finals this year and just make up the numbers. Yes, this topic of mine does have it's haters out there but like I've told them on numerous occassions... If you don't effing like it, don't effing read it... Let alone put silly little pathetic comments on here like that mate, come on now...
