Dean Howard gone.
Ben Hart gone.

One of those guys is a Crows legend, the other was known as one of the toughest mid-fielders in the competition.

How can we replace a guy like Ben Hart?

Howard gone.

Archard, Clarke and Ward in.

On paper, those three ins were massive massive inclusions to an already pretty bloody good midfield.

yep, they were talked up big time at the start of the year as great inclusions to fill the spots of hart and howard. Not sure if they have all been fit though so maybe next year they will come up better.

anyway, really looking forward to watching this DVD. Coad has really made it difficult now for Herring to come back in. Maybe Coad could move down back if needed to fit in Herring, but then we still have Plant and Gregory in the 2's waiting to get in. A headache I can deal with, but for only so long.

north got cained in the ruck. every hit out went straight to sturt players. have to look at new rucks O'hara and Wakelin are propably not up to it any more, they even got killed by feast around the ground and he is about 50 years old
I think Sturt the way they are playing now will win the flag.

We have a lot of talented players in the 2's who won't wait forever to get their chance at league level. Unfortunately, who are you going to drop???

yes. because his 1 kick (that I saw) was more than the combined effort of our League Ruckmen

In all fairness Sturt were at close to full-strength and North riddled by unfortunate injuries to Quality SANFL players.

I thought Coad was sensational. Whiteman relentless, Gummy superb....

Great effort in Ruck by Dr Evil.

Bring on WWT. :D :D

I think you are overstating the ins importance. Clarke is a dead set battler, showed very little in his time at South and would not even make the Glenelg, Sturt or Central teams. Ward is someone with some good AFL expierence but the problem with these guys is their bodies have suffered and they tend to battle. Archard I would have thought was a good recruit and I know Centrals were keen on him but he has under performed so far at North.
On the whole North are falling into the same trap as Port in that they are recruiting anyone who's had AFL experience and closer to 30, you can proberly afford 1 or 2 of these guys to finish off a young squad but North are littered with them.
Interested to hear Jars response when asked did he feel under pressure prior to the Eagles game "No I'm not under pressure these players are" just a throw away line but seemed like he was distancing himself from the players group.

I've read a hardcopy Jimmy. Jarman states that the way Sturt played on Monday they would have beaten some AFL teams

I don't know...

I'm pretty confident we'd knock off Choco's Chokers at the moment!!!

Chambo would kick 10 in the last qtr and we'd win by a point!
