Franklin---Im a Hawthorn supporter, so not a hard choice.

At their peak the first two were the dominant big forwards in the game, but Id say Carey would shade him for career form

I selected Carey, as he was dominant over his whole career.
Could make a case for Brown & Franklin, as they still (potentially) have their best footy ahead of them (certainly in Franklin's case), but I feel Carey was just that dominant in the game for such a long period.

i went brown because he can kick both feet & play in numerous positions where as the other 2 really didn't & while with franklin he can probably play half forward wing etc he always swings onto the left & he'll get caught more & more as the years roll by
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

I picked Franklin. I didn't really get to see Carey play much and i would rather Franklin over Brown anyday.

Brown, I only say that as I think he will end up better than Carey, Carey had a great career and Brown has obviously modelled his footy around him, just think Brown does a little more, Franklin at the minute is very very good and having a great year, however I think he is too early in his career to compare him with the other two IMHO. Both Carey and Brown two sided players hand and foot, not to often you see Franklin kick or handball on his no preferred side, coming to think of it, I am sure he would have handballed but I can't remember seeing one

I'd have to admit that, in his prime, Carey, was probably the best player I have seen.
I dislike his arrogance and off field behaviour patterns though.

Duck easy

he also played CHB, In the Middle and CHF.
I think a few on here are to young to remember or see him live.

Definitely Brown.

He is the gutsiest player going around.
I know I'd rather have him in the same guernsey as me than against me.

Franklin and Carey also have/had off field troubles, which can disrupt team unity.
While Brown was known to get in a stoush or two on the field, his record off it is squeaky clean.

Right here and now, today, Carey pretty easily ... Could well be an interesting question in another 5 years time though.
