Rd 10 Sturt v North

All discussions to do with the SANFL

I am expecting a Classic Contest between two equally skilful teams.

The home-ground advantage should just tip the balance in favour of the Double Blues.

14, rain easing to showers now.
Whichever Einstein put this game on Monday cost a couple of thousand through the gate and 3 from this household.

wet conditions may well play into Norths hands, may well curb the influence of some of the bigger Sturt forwards where as North will have a fairly small but pacy forward line, initially I thought the Blues by plenty but if the rain comes that they say is going to might just favour the chooks in a slugfest in the mud

Bit of rain wont hurt anyone. If it was 20 and sunny obviously more would go and people wouldn't be concerned it was on a Monday.

What's the problem with it being on a monday? There's no Port or Crows games on, what day is a good day over a long weekend?

Wedgie,

The SANFL powers aren't going to know the weather forecast 6 months in advance when they release their fixtures for the season ahead ???

Take a brolly, poncho and blanket, you'll be fine mate. Rain, hail or shine, you should follow your side and attend every game possible...

Correct although I couldn't think of many worse things to do on a Monday. With the amount of money I have invested on Sturt the least I can do is rock up!
(even if it is one of the few grounds that doesn't allocate parking to media like professional clubs do)

Looks like a rainy boggy day which will nullify and advantage on both sides. Tight tussle but North has too much at stake not to win :)

Im sure if u rang the club the week before they could help you out with a park so you poor little legs wouldnt have to walk 2 blocks to get to the game. Hope you have a water proof pen for todays game :D
