Good on ya Bundy - I hate it when people have tickets to something (especially freebies) and when they cant go or are caught out, they just leave them to waste instead of offering them elsewhere. I often give away spare tickets to the footy at the entrance gates as people are queuing up to but a ticket - always give them a smile and all I ask in return is that they do the same for someone else when they have a spare ticket.

Not looking good, can't make it to oval to give them out, so it seems a waste to put them in the bin. :( :(

I had 2 freebies given to me yesterday - and managed to just get the second one used by a mate. There was a pile of about 20 free tickets sitting on a seat in front of me in the Edwin Smith Stand this arvo.

Maybe we should start a thread on 'who paid full prie to the state game' - between all the free tickets being given out, the $5 entry for Crows/Port/SANFL season ticket holders, plus 2 for 1 tickets available off AdelaideNow I wonder how many people actually did pay full price.
They don't keep me here because I'm gorgeous and 5'10

I was trying to give away my last extra ticket at the gate, every one I asked already had free tickets, hopefuly mr"get your budget here" found someone. IMHO not too many paid to get in.

IIRC they said on RPH that 500 tickets had been given away by the SANFL as freebies.

Sure that wasn't 5000 ?

My sons footy club got 80 through their juniors, every club with jnr sides was (so I'm told) offered them, plus a heap given out for other reasons.

Spewing I couldn't make it today. I had to host an open inspection for our rental property and no bastard rocked up.....

grrr could've gone after all, Adelaide Oval, good footy and a nice day what better way to spend a Saturday than at the best oval in the world...
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

I could have misheard them but I'm pretty sure it was 500...cos they reckoned the SANFL had been hoping for a crowd of 7000-9000.
