Okay come someone tell me where they are getting this info from?

Is it confirmed is it out in the media yet? How kosher is it?

Given that three different posters have come out with the same info it sounds true but hey just looking for confirmation.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

OCT wrote:Well when he first got there he said he wanted to change their culture ? If this rumour is true he should be embarrassed. As far as Souths culture is concerned I made some points about that on another thread. They just kep passing the baton over to people that have the same culture so nothing is achieved.

They are an absolute rabble and will be for a long time. They just about need a board in the waiting ( NON SOUTHIES) to throw them over and start again. I reckon this may get ugly.

Where's the mouth from the South in this episode "Darley16", still in the wardrobe with all of the other skeletons!! :o :o

I really thought in 2006 that South were headed in the right direction. I'm comparing now, to just before the Qualifying Final in that year, when at that time, I thought they were our biggest threat to the flag. With Phil Herden there, the membership increased; the cars around the boundary was a success and the lease on the oval was secure. People are saying that it starts at the top of the board, but a coach who the players won't dummy spit at is needed, too.

G, never comes out with anything unless it is correct, so i'd bet it is very correct tassie

the betting on backing a team with a new coach wont work this time as poor old south travel to elizabeth for their next game

Well , refer my previous post !! If that comment is true , it starts at the top. Nothing else. South supporters should be calling a special general meeting and overthrow the board. It must ne done for the future of South.

My assumption would be that Jacks team would walk with him, or at best stay in the backgound with a new coach to mentor them.

For South supporters I sympathise with yas not nice when this happens. crikey how things have gone pear shaped in 5 weeks....

Yes.
You'll find this to be the case at any sporting club with a failure rate akin
to South's.
If one person does it, it's insanity. If millions do it, it's religion.

My personal point of view is that Jack was on a hiding to nothing by going there. Apart from the coin, what did he have to prove to anyone about his coaching, SFA, so he set himself up for a fall, and guess what, he's fallen pretty bloody hard.

Is there a coach out there who is capable of changing the culture at South or does the whole football department and possibly board need a overhaul

Pale Ale , as I have stated twice in this thread it is bleeding obvious the board has to go, but dont replace with South people. Cultures take a long time to change , usually years in a business sense.

If anyone reckons its not the boards fault they are very very ignorant
