Not a bad effort on Saturday without Brown and Black I thought.
Admittedly no Ablett for the Cats, but to go that close down at Skilled was an almight effort considering most clubs get trounced.

Brisbane might be a flag chance if both fowards can fire at same time and Black and Power keep up there form they could go a long way.
Black is in terrific form aswell i just have to add.. there foward line can worry some teams that only have one key defender.

If they can win their next three very winnable games, they'll take plenty of momentum into second half of the season.
They've got a bloody good draw too.
I reckon they can finish 15-7.

Brisbane's new "away" guernsey looks interesting! - I am tipping that plenty of old school Fitzroy supporters dont mind it!

Another big win today.
If Brown and Bradshaw can fire together more often, they are capable of matching it with the best.

Don't think they are a genuine chance for the flag but will make the top 5, if they keep their gun players fit, play a great brand of footy and are hard at the opposition when they have the ball

BLACKY'S BROWNLOW CHANCE

Postby BlueBoy1991 » Sun May 25, 2008 7:42 pm

just some facts i have found Simon Black, in his brownlow winning year he had an Avg. of 22.3 possessions a game with getting over 30 possessions 3 times and so far in "08" Black has got an amazing Avg of 28 and getting over the 30 mark 3 times already i know its early in the season but i might head down to the TAB and chuck some money his way for the brownlow.

Black is a superstar purely because he can back it up when the team is struggling too.
