Well you can't expect the majority of our supporters to be too pleased with out first 7 games??? After making the GF and in reality improving our list we have gone backwards this year. Midfield was one of our issues last year and we recruited the likes of Archard and O'Brien but if you look at their recent games they can hardly get the ball! Although we have a few players missing, every club has injuries and our 21 each week has been pretty good but we are just spluttering along. Of those missing (Ladhams/Motlop/Wintle/Clarke/Ward/Ryswyk) only Lads could be considered a big loss based on this year's form, although to be fair to Clarke he only played his first game yesterday in the ressies. The rest of that list have struggled big time.

Presently we sit 2 games from the double chance with the next two games being away to the Eagles, who will be twice as strong as they were in Rd 1 and then Sturt at Unley. I can't see North even being considered an outside chance in either of those games so any aspirations we might harbour of a double chance this year can be just about forgotten about as who out of the top 3 presently are going to drop two games (3 if you count percentage) that would give us a silly chance ? We couldn't string together 2 wins a row let alone 3 or so to make any challenge. We will be flat out making the Elimnation Final and to be honest that would be a failure after making the GF last year and with our "alleged high profile" list.

Some tough decisions need to be made at Prospect starting now!

Just out of interest, who let Rick MacGowan walk out of the club back in 2005 ?

He had a falling out with Jars over coaching philosophy but regardless of whether he stayed at North or ended up at the Eagles where he did, he was still only an assistant coach and he still would have got the Sturt job if he had applied being an assistant at North.

As we all know, any involvement at North and a vacancy at Sturt, the position is filled either on or off the field

"Coaching philosophy" is a nice way to say Jars doesn't like opinions other than his own?

Norwood far far too good.North not playing as a team in any area of the game IMHO.More Norwood fans than North for a change .

P.S. If the NAFC are going to charge people money to sit in the public stand dont have 11 yr old girls policing it --------it looks deploreable. It did not effect me but to ask people to pay and then have 150 people storm the gates when it rained and push past the paying ones onto rows is piss weak.Just can the idea now its pathetic

There was no way there were more Nwd supporters than North supporters for a start.

Secondly the club is using the Rockettes and the Junior Dance Team to check the Grand stand tickets (as they get a cut of the charge to go towards their fundraising) but it was well into the ressies game before any of the girls or the other "officials" (volunteers) took up their positions to "police" the stands and by that time half the stands were half full!!! I thought it was ironic that the club "engaged" an additional Weslo Guard to help assist monitor the non paying supporters who might sneak up into the stand. One bloke who was supposed to assist in checking 6 entry points in the two stands??? What a joke!

Maybe another 3 or 4 of the 8 Weslo blokes who patrolled the outer amongst the 200 diehards from both clubs might have been better used to police the "grand stand cheaters".

I just read that Wedgie wants Jarman out. Well, I just spoke to Jarmanout &, whilst he is suitably flattered, he said that Wedgie is not quite his type but thanks for thinking of him anyway! Me thinks the relationship wouldn't last anyway

Been on it for 30 years boys. You mean there's a Norwood bandwagon starting up somewhere? Good to see the wheels aren't off for a change. Thanks for caring. 8)

A question to North supporters who know far more about their side that I do... Will Tim Delvins ever get a go and cement his spot?? Was promised a game this week. Assured one. Was told early in the week that he was second cab off the rank behind Nick Gill.. yet 3 changes were made and he missed again. He's a great kid... as disciplined and dedicated as it comes.. and while I know he has missed in the past due to senior players coming back from injury... Cows players going back and forwards... he just doesnt seem to be given a go from what I can tell.

He has been promised the world by the coach... yet really let down. I havent seen any of his ressies efforts apart from the week he played my side... yet from what I read he is always in the best players. He's young... obviously talented... whats the go??

We all wish we knew. I think you'll find 95% (if not more) of North supporters want him in the side and cannot understand why he's not.

Comment of the day from the outer, as the grog Squad started singing during time on of the last quarter.

"You only sing when you're losing"
