FFS we've won one final in 15 years - then only just and we're = flag favourites???

Thortons must know the Bays have a few good punters so are trying to scare them with odds that are unders....

IMO we should be on the same line as Sturt, with Centrals outright favs. No they're not playing well but they don't at this time of year and with key ins to come in Centrals deserve top billing IMO ATM.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

tassie, no huge difference between 5/2 & 11/4

i'm happy to have had $250 on us @ 7/1 ($8.00) at the start of the year, not that i think we are morals but i thought we were value at those odds, with the odds at present the only team i could contemplate backing is norwood but i think they'll fall of the perch before the end of the season

tassie, they are doing markets on form for this years flag with this years form, what has happened in the past whether it was 5,10 or 100 years ago means nothing to this year

Yes but this years form can be misleading as May form doesn't = October Form.

As I said Central's should be favs as with their outs they are still winning and not playing good footy which is their usual trait in May...

Not that I don't think they're unbeatable and we are not without a silly chance but I do not think we are worthy of flag favouritism by any stretch of the imagination.

The Bays are the real deal for sure. They totally deserve their position as flag favourites. Congratulations to the supporters, administrators, players and coaching staff at GFC for a job well done. Enjoy your success everyone, WELL DONE! :prayer: =D> \:D/

Whatever did happen to Valley Virgin? Glenelg win a few games and all of a sudden Chandler's a genius?

Amazing what you can do when you give the critics a few 'jobs' around the place to keep them quiet. :D

Valley Virgin the great champion of the Glenelg Football Club has now left the building and can been seen at South. He holds official a position like team manager or could be on their team selection committee. Looked a treat in the club uniform on Saturday.

Each to their own but I am GFC forever and confused by his move.

I am fairly sure that this is the first time ever that a legal bookmaker has listed Glenelg as outright premiership favourites!
(Thorntons only started early 90's didn't they, and we wouldn't have ever been favourites since then)
