Can an unspectacular player be so insperational for a team and how exactly does he do this?
Im not being a smart arse, I remember reading Josh Francou's article once saying how the whole team grows a leg* when Wilbur's out there.
I can understand how players like Carey, Hird, Voss, etc can have such a big influence on a team but I think Ports ratio with/without Wilson is even more pronounced than some of the greats of the game in their respective club.
Not watching the Power much as other the years Im genuinely interested in how Wilbur inspires the team so much and hence the win/loss ratio when he's playing?
