Biggest question has to be asked, WTF were the boundary and goal umpires doing? Surely they could have reported him too!

Careful mate, it's only May ... I'd be writing off a team like North at your own peril - too much talent and experience in that lineup to not be a major player at the business end imho.

Thanks for the common sense there C_P. You put it so much better than I would have done
grant j, you forgot to add the smilies. Or at least I think you have because that post must surely have been written in jest

1k fine, what a complete waste of time.
Poor umps get dropped if they dont report a coach and then have a waste of their time and a token fine only if they do report a coach. They must be very frustrated.

Does Jars have to pay this or does the club wear the fine for him?
I imagine the club make the payment by either witholding a gorilla from his wages or writing a cheque from their own funds but I presume Jars has to wear it himself?

Morning Fellow Footy Fans,

For a second offence of similar action, albeit he did get away with it the first time, I reckon Jars got off lightly with a $1K fine, but just IMO...

Also read in this morning's paper that Clive Waterhouse got a 1 week suspension for striking but Westies Ryan Willits got off on his charge...

Things are going from bad to worse for the Maggies, not that Waterhouse would be a huge loss after only just returning from injury, again IMO...

GO U DOGGIES...

Is anyone really surprised by what the Tribunal hands out - whether it's coaches or players!

The SANFL needs to have a good look at the Tribunal and it's findings of recent years - it needs a complete overhaul as it is clearly one of the most unprofessional parts of the league and it needs a set of consistent guidelines moving forward.

The real penalty handed out by the Tribunal was dished out to the NAFC as they are facing a 18 week penalty.

Including 2 more byes and the State Game - North have to endure Jarman's coaching over this period!
