Give Corey Smelt a call up - 14 goals last week for Kangarilla 38 goals in four games. The form full forward in SA....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

I might not be an award winning mathematician but although I agree 16 goals in 3 weeks is damn good form I woudl think 22 goals in 3 weeks is damn better. :?

I think Passador is a better player than Hargraves at the moment, but wouldn't pick either for the State side. Chambers deserves to be there in front of both of them.

I would have thought the bloke taking the most marks, getting his hands on it most, having the most scoring shots and kicking the most goals who has kicked the most goals over his career than the others might be the best full forward at the minute (especially when playing in 7th side as opposed to the top or 6th side), but hey, that's crazy logic of mine.

Passador - 16 goals in the last 3 rounds Avge 5.33 per game
Chambers - 26 goals in 6 games and 22 in his last 4 Avge 4.33 per game
Hargraves - 25 goals in 5 games and 22 in his last 4 Avge 5 per game

Need I say more - I rest my case. Surely there's room for at least 2 of these and I think Passador is deserving of one of these spots. You can play Chambers at FF that's fine. I would play Passa out of a pocket or across a HF flank perhaps.

Much like myself I think your bias is coming out here wedgie. Obviously you have much respect for Hargraves from his Roosters days but let's be truthful here surely your not saying he's a better forward than Passa. :o :o :o

Hargraves - 25 goals in 5 games and 22 in his last 4 Avge 5 per game

Need I say more - I rest my case.

You do need to say more, you need to compare them equally.
As you've shown us Passadors average over the last 3 rounds you need to compare that to Chambers and Hargraves last 3 rounds if you want a fair comparison.

Passadoer - Average 5.33 per game
Hargraves - Average 7.33 per game
Chambers - Average 5.00 per game

Absolute no brainer when you compare them over the SAME period.

Take into account marks taken and scoring shots and it opens up even further.

Unlike you I can look at it objectively as none of the players play for my club.

Passador Chambers (Hargraves or Clayton)

Backwell Alleway McConnell

Thats my fwd line.

Perrie- not in form, shouldn't be there.
*Clayton- gives you something off the ball up fwd ( goals ) & finds the footy in the midfield/ Callinan the same & *Backwell, good 3 way rotation.
*Chambers- in form fwd, best f/fwd in state at present.
*Passador- Quick, leads well, good hands & knows where the goals are, should be rewarded.
*Hargraves- Has had alot of the footy, kicked alot of goals & points!, very handy & in form.
Havelburg- not up to it. One good bag last year, but nothing since.
*Alleway- Mobile CHF, very good hands.
*McConnell- Knows where the goals are, very accurate kick for goal, good hands.

I was obviously taking into account whole of season form not just the last 3 weeks. I could only count 3 games for Passador because that is all he has played.

Maybe its only fair to judge the three, by goals kicked against the same teams. We all can pick an argument to suit our prejudices.

I think Alleway will struggle to get picked now due to Jarman continually moving him from the fwd line to on ball and then playing as a loose man in defence! Hard to be picked at CHF when he plays in that postion for 5 minutes a quarter! I think that sums up North's current plight!

Way things are these days, but there's some irony in that of tht forward line there are no original South Australians, and are mainly Vics.

Havelburg may actually be a good foil for Chambers, rather than Passador or Hargraves who are used to being the main focal point, however McConnell would probably be better at this than Havelburg.

Hmm big loss but thankfully he will miss the North match too as we don't have anyone that can run with him!

A quick question. Are these all the games the SANFL has played against the VFL? And does anyone know where I can find scores of recent SA v WA and WA v VIC games?
