Forwards Poll

Postby spell_check » Sun May 11, 2008 11:10 pm

There are two ways I could have conducted this poll - choose the leading goalkicker from each club, or choose the best specialist forwards. I have gone with the latter, plus that favourite option of the Bays.

IMO, I'd go for Macca...although he won't kick the numbers of Chambo & Hargy, he will kick
50 - 60 for the year plus provide us with another option to play on the wing, centre HBF etc.

Also takes the heat off the other key forwards ie Grima, Kirkby & Dogger and helps share the
load...

For me it's not so much one individual kicking goals, more so the spread of goals between
all our forwards and the ability to kick a winning score.
The joy of being on the hill drinking beer cannot be understated

Although he hasn't played much lately...

I would have had IAN CALLINAN as an option...

I voted for Dan Havelberg instead but I guess it probably is Chambers...

Big Phil...

That makes sense :? You think Chambers is the best forward yet you vote for someone else in a poll asking who is the best forward :? :?

I went for Passa. When you come back from injury and kick 9 the first week back, sure it was the reserves, but still.

Chambo represents the best Forward currently playing SANFL Footy.

He's in Career best form and the chances he can surpass last year's fantastic 112 goals in 21 Matches are great.
