although the Maggies arent a real threat this year, they have lost all games by small margins and have been racked by injury, so i dont think the Maggies are easy beats like many believe................

They are the real deal not to win the spoon but at this stage will be lucky to see finals action this year.

As a supporter of the club i'm not sure that they will. CD are certs, as are North, probably Sturt and Glenelg too. Eagles have hit some form now, so if Port is to make the finals they'll probably have to push WWT out, but from what i've seen the Magpies still have problems winning close games, so unless that problem can be rectified i can foresee the club finishing 6 (or 7th).

I had us down for 6th too, but I'm optimistic of our finals chances.

I have a bet with a certain SportsBeat writer with a vastly over-inflated opinion of his own side that Port will play finals. If we do, he buys me lunch. If we finsh lower than 6th I buy him lunch. If we do actually finish 6th then it's a stalemate...

Wouldn't write them off just yet, the mongrels put up a bloody good fight with only 18 men, just that Norwood had so much to prove, and not just to themselves. It is time for Norwood and Port to return to the finals and bring back some credibility to the SANFL. And if you support other clubs, that's fine, it is alright to be jealous!

Port seem to be losing a lot of games lately that they could/should have won & that must be bloody frustrating for everyone! They need to do a real estate course & learn how to close a deal! I still think that very soon they will get it right & start winning a lot more than they are currently losing.

And when exactly were these days where reputation got you somewhere? Strange comment.
