Depends on if its a set shot for goal or not, in theat scenario the goal umpire adjudicates on the goal post and the bounday umpires adjudicate on the behind post. So it is the boundary umpires decision on if its has passed inside or outside of the behind post.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Ohhhh you have to be kidding me SP. He's already one of the biggest protected birds in the comp as it is. He gets far too many soft frees already. Please don't tell me he's harshly done by - you have to be kidding me.

The free kick count showed who got most of the ball. If your first to the ball the majority of the day the umps will generally protect you. I can't believe your complaining about it. :? :? :? It's not how many are paid it's where there paid. I think you'll find you scored more goals as a direct result of frees than we did. Even saying that 6 free kicks wasn't the difference in a 35 pt margin. Stop your bitching SP and get over it.

and to some of us he has become the Footy Tipping voice of Sturt on 5aa :wink: (even if they dumped him for wanting to sing the club song) He tells us he's 'officially' their number 1 supporter so who are we to doubt his expertise.
