Good bloke Rob and has had an excellent AFL career for his level of ability, but the game has passed him by IMO

Think he did enough to get another game next week.

listened to the game on tripleM and Gary Lyon was at his sarcastic best early in the second quarter when Carlton were in front by about 12 points, and he said the Crows were slow and just going through the motions and couldnt handle not being in front of our home crowd........ I wonder what he said about them after they won

first up, it's premature to look at a 9-2 record... if we lost to Freo last week, we wouldn't think 9-2 was possible, but as it stands at 4-2 with a real chance to consolidate at home the next 2 weeks, we should be proud of our club for finally playing the youth.

I went today and still can't talk from the yelling!! I must admit when Rutten went off just before 1/2 time, I could see Fev tearing us apart. But didn't Bock stood up?? He killed fev after half time, he is one serious player and some of his spoils in that last 1/4 when really out of position showed his class....

Tippett / Griffin ruck combo - how good was it to watch!!! We have a ready made combination here, with both looking very comfortable going forward... They are really working well with the midfield combos and with Reilly due back still, it's only going to get better!!

Add to this Hentschel with at least a month (not a couple of weeks) in the SANFL - and they can start to look dangerous with some strong combinations.

Now for Rob Shirley, who i've been critical of this year... He may have turned the ball over, used it poorly.... BUT I still think one of his best games for the club, he really worked hard and took Judd out of the game after 1/4 time - great game and I thought he played really well!!!

Listening to 3AW - I must make comment on Robert Walls... HE IS A COMPLETE DICKHEAD and has NO idea about football or anything else. Just a complete moron.

P.S. Dutchy - none of that in the Crows room, we're all well aware we play the Kangas next week at AAMI
Port Power has 16 years history at Football Park...

The Port Magpies have 40 years history and the two shall never be confused or combined

Tippett is coming along well for the crows and Griffen is getting better. But I wouldnt get too carried away about there dominance in the ruck as they were only up against 3rd gamer in Kruzer and Cloke. It will be tougher next weeks but there are some real positive signes there.

Lyon gave sober analysis when Carlton were in front, then when the Crows ran over the top the commentary team just descended into laughing amongst themselves.

Listened to the ABC preview on the way to the game and Mark Maclure (I think) banged on about how great Carlton's midfield was and how were the Crows going to kick a winning score with their negative style pf play. Hope he took note of the clearances....

It was great to watch, we dominated the ruck and clearances and we kept their guns very quiet. It won't be much if we don't knock off the Roos next week which we should do at home. It will be a good game though.

THE CROWS COULD AND SHOULD BE 9 AND 2 AT THE HALFWAY MARK

.....only if you play us, then Melbourne, then us, then Melbourne, then us in the next 5 weeks.

After being at the game yesterday, you are just making up the numbers like the rest of us. You'll finish top 8, but wont go much further.

Rioli will get the nomination this week or Hawthorn fans will storm AFL house and the Yarra will break its banks with all the tears. He kicked goal of the year today and is an awesome young player. The Crows noms will come, plenty of the younger guys go all right IMO.
