Both SA and WA AFL teams lose !!!

With the Crows / Dockers / Eagles and Power all losing on the weekend and all easily in the end - Does the AFL need to give these teams more of a break after local derbies ???

I rekon so - The Crows were always going to find it very tough and the correct result showed but I rekon Port stopping as they did and the Dockers losing in Perth to Richmond showed that tough derby clashes the week before can be costly !!!

Adelaide got beaten due to Hawthorn being too good, West Coast have been deplorable so far this season,
Fremantle well who the hell cares about them, and if Port squander a good lead due to a bit of rain falling
then tough cookies....

The breaks were fine...

Thanks for clarifying, thought you might have been referring to internal trial games...

funny how both sydney and brisbane won

also kangas and hawks

if teams are good enough they will win

truth is adelaide arent that good

Port are shockingly bad

freo - are a bunch of fraudsters

west coast - young vulnerable list who are struggling without the stars to cover them

what a crock Bleu Bouy...
Richmond got towelled up by Collingwood the week before, & thrashed an insipid Fraudmantle.
Power blew* an unbeatable lead.
UNBEATABLE!
West Coke were knocked out by Big Bad Barry (with apologies to the Old Dark Tanking Blues for stealing Judd...)
The Cows meanwhile, were given the last seat on Miss American Pie instead of Buddy on the weekend...

The only thing your theory proves is that both Port & Fremantle have a lot in common with the Tin Man from the Wizard of Oz!

Adelaide: They were always going to loose against Hawthorn.....

Fremantle: They are sh1t

West Coast: Struggling with the loss of their stars.... and have a lot of young guys in their first years

Port Adelaide: They are also sh1t

I don't think they needed a break. West Coast were never going to beat Sydney at ANZ Stadium and Adelaide were no real chance against Hawthorn. Port Adelaide were in a position to win but failed to do so which was because of their sh1tness. Fremantle are always over-rated and they should have never been entered into the AFL because they will never win a premiership. NO BREAK NEEDED!

Port were happy with a 47 point lead, which is why they just stopped and let Brisbane back in the game and win.

Please see my post in the North v Sturt review thread saying well done to Sturt supporters for the numbers attending Prospect.......anyway No.Just thought your idea of extra time after"tougher derby games" was absolutely one of the most ridiculous thing I have read on this site.
