And I was starting to think that it was all talk by Adelaide that he was close to getting a game soon! Well done 'Rodney'!

Probably on an AFC forum but probably not on here.

It smacks of trying to say "Dangerfield kicked 8, told you he'd be better than Ebert!!.."

SD said it was in the TAC and offered no comment just posted some stats, didn't mention Brett Ebert at all ....

So why so defensive lads? :-k

How many midfielders kick 8 in any comp BTW?

Refer to the SANFL Board, after only a couple of games the Westies supporters are commenting on how much they miss a certain 17 year old high school kid in their LEAGUE team already .....

"no respect, no respect" ..... :D

Yeah, okay.

Or maybe this is a great effort and it gives hope to Crows supporters.

And, as a result of this TAC performance, he could debut for the Crows this week.

It could be added as a side note on an existing thread. Probably more appropriate to start a thread on the Crows board on Big Footy about it.

Actually your post got me thinking, instead of directing people to Bigfooty perhaps we should start a Crows board here?
Im a Geelong man myself but am quite willing to admit that the Crows easily get the most talk on the AFL board here and perhaps they deserve their own board?
Just a thought.

IS an SANFL player who nominates and gets drafted by a victorian club allowed to finish his schooling here rather than go interstate ?
I know the answer should be yes because of this example, but it's just not heard of.

Could it be possible for a player who isn't happy with which team drafted him, staying at school for as long as possible in the hope he'll end up getting traded to his team of choice ?

As much as i agree with this you'd have to start a Port board as well to prevent their inferiority complex growing.

Nah, I don't think the Power get half as much traffic on here, well not from Power supporters anyway

And Power fans have thepowerfromport.com too.
Not sure if there's a dedicated fan forum for Crows fans though.

I actually wouldn't be surprised if the AFL bring in some type of rule that each person nominating for the draft for now on must be prepared to move full time to the state in which the club that drafts them is based in. Can see that being added to the first contract they sign.

That's a fair point Smithy...did hear that grumbles that as Dangerfield stated that he wanted to finish school etc and not move away, that he was indirectly influencing, if that's the right word, the draft...

IMO if you wish to complete school, don't nominate. What would he have done if WCE picked him up ? A lot easier to travel one hour on a plane then 4 - 5...

What if he fails Year 12  does he repeat and the Crows have to do the same thing again !!
