Re: SAAFL Div 3 2008
Dont know what game you were watching Hi Ho but Eastern Park looked like the real deal on Saturday. Definitely a better side than last year- alot of good running players and made alot of space up forward for Donnelly to lead into.
The test will come when they are challenged- can they maintain discipline then...
I'm pretty sure it was Shaun Gatto who was best on (considering Troy had 5 goals kicked on him by Igs' centre half forward).
I think teams will be well advised to tag him this year- great skills and gets plenty of it. He is their no. 1 play maker.

Is that Mathew Wauchope playing for Kilburn formerly playing at Barossa Bistricts?

Are you sure it was Troy playing at CHB? Normally a wingman...

I must have them mixed up. The one who played CHB has been at Eastern Park for the last few seasons.

Ah, that'd be Bryan I think.
And I'm sure he won't be the only one to be beaten by Rolfe this year...

NO way Kliburn will beat Flinders.
Good luck playing against Massive this year lads. Add Jake Fuller to that - one of the smartest forwards you'll see.

A lot of mobile talls. Cannane up forward was pretty good, #10. Hoekman and Laube got shitloads of it in the middle. Menz as well probably.
I'm guessing it was Shaun Gatto who got best on mate, but how'd Troy go on the weekend BH? Looked pretty good in the trial I saw...
No Brian gatto actually Pag!!! All three played well although Troy was quiter than other two. Still played well though and would have won his possie....
Harsh but fair.....

Re: SAAFL Div 3 2008
Don't think Rolfe played CHF all day....He kicked two while Bryan was standing him and kicked another three either from another position or with another opponent.....Bryan would have had twenty five touches off the half back line and set up alot of play. Shaun was good as usual but didn't dominate. As mentioned Troy was serviceable. Hope that clears it all up.....
Harsh but fair.....

Hope you are right mate but you are cockier than we are. Kilburn will be a tough team to beat. A lot of the boys people are expecting to be good players are still really young and we'll be up against some experienced Kilburn players. Is our forward line the only reason you think we will win?
There should also be a bit of fire with two former Kilburn boys Jay Collins and Justin Keatley lining up against there old club.

Any reports from the Para Hills/Woody South game?
I would have thought that was going to be a pretty even contest and was surprised that Para Hills flogged them.

Don't be surprised, just wait till Para Hills get their mittens on Salisbury again! I am sure they will be keen to send out a msg and let everyone know that the GF last year was a once off! They (PH vs Sal) had some great games last year but that 1 game just didn't do the rivalry justice at all. I think the "Hills" lads will be very keen to make amends on that!
If i'm not playing football then i'm probably watching it, otherwise i'm at least thinking about it!

But you know that Salisbury will still be last years premier, regardless of the result of the game this year?
And at least Salisbury players need not be concerned about getting scratched in packs if PH are wearing mittens.

Do you reckon they're pink and fluffy mittens?

Salisbury should be around the mark this year.
I think Michael Hewish will make a big impact coming back from a knee reco. He's tough and hard at it.
