Mate, we're used to it.

Mind you I have no idea why I support a club that frustrates me and serves me crap beer that runs out at half time for $5 a pop when I could quite easily support Norwood and support a club that frustrates me and serves me good beer. :?

I went down to the RSL under the grand stand and was getting cans of beer for $3.50 :D

Well done Ricky and the Sturt Football Club

Looked pretty good in second quarter
We were on target but alas we have still only

kicked 20 goals against North at Prospect TWICE ( 1976 & 1994 ) in 83 games!

I believe in retaining he traditional double blue gurnsey so am against the new away gurnsey
That said I like the new gurnsey and socks as a spectacle
I believe we will end up back Adelaide oval in coming years, thats eliteism

Who else wears colours like that

We know there is something going on behind the scenes regarding a new football stadium, footy park upgrade and adelaide oval upgrade
We know the AFL wants to change the way the SANFL is structured eg change the name of the competition. Do they want both AFL sides to have reserves sides like all other interstate teams. So Eagles become the crows reserve side and XXXXX become the port power reserves side

The second part should be watching what Sturt did well - that will use up the remaining 114 minutes.

A long year looming large at Prospect.

Hilarious!
although I doubt we warmed up correctly...

Sturt were very, very professional. North will improve and expect to see a shoot-out at House Bros Oval on June 9th.

I was so proud of the efforts of all our lads. Great to see Scott McGlone play his best game for the Double Blues in front of his dad.

Luke Crane was brilliant, Sarge a class act and Nick Wark as reliable as ever.

Hope Sturt can maintain this intensity all year.

Go Sturt! :D :D :D

I agree Locky was spot on but i will add any 2 supporters over 6'2 would have competed better than our poor excuses for Ruckmen.

Sturt made north look real slow. They have a great team but they peaked to early last year and theres a long way to go.
North need to find a defensive side to there game otherwise they will continually struggle against the good teams

Very true as we were 3 and zip last year as well !!!

But unlike last year we have topped up our list to cover injuries and form slumps so the second half of the year should be interesting !!!

I'll tell you one thing, - Daniel Ward is certainly not even close to being a replacement for Ben Hart.

Bit unfair to compare Ward to Hart G. It was his 1st game up from injury and according to the NAFC website he wouldn't be ready before round 4, so they might have brought him back a week too soon. May need a week or too to adjust to the SANFL style. Let's just give him a few games to settle in

Hart has left a hell of a footprint at North.

It took Ben Hart half a season to get on the park last year and Ward looked under done but should prove to be a valuable contributor down back. North will have more of an idea over the next few weeks how we are tracking when we can actually play two or more games on the trot rather than what has happened so far - a pre-season and regular season start littered with injuries and byes.
