They would have to move him down back. How else are they going to cover the fire power of Schwarze, Salter and Groecke.

Easy do we what we did last week - midfield dominance means the ball doesn't get down there or if it does it comes in nice and slow so the defenders can more easily stop teh forwards from getting it.

Thanks for pointing out what most of us Eagle fans have been saying all week .Just out of interest how did south beat you guys the week before ?
How did port lose the week before something to do with not kicking goals in the last quarter.

Its all mute because the Coaching staff should have addressed ALL the above problems.

By doing what you correctly pointed out. Winning the ball in the midfield.

Hey all I was doing was responding to EHL point about Ah Chee having to be moved away from CHF. Doesn't have to occur if the ball doesn't get down to your forwards easily.

Play on Mickyj
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Long season ahead for Eagle fans.

A bit of confidence for Magpie fans.

Expect their first week against West May 3.

How many weeks am I going to say this? Passador, Cicolella and Symmons have to come in! After kicking 3 goals in the first 5 minutes, it went back to exactly what has happened in the past two weeks. The conversation above talks about the midfield dominance, and apart from Jarrad, the quick delivery by Ports midfield into Hargraves was the difference.

I'm almost tearing my hair out now in seeing the Reserves win comfortably again, followed by the League side losing comfortably. I get the feeling that there isn't a spark in the midfield and for so long Cica has been the spark. But where is he?

On Hargraves 10 goals:

The 2nd time he has kicked 10 or more, the other was in Round 20 2002 when he kicked 13 against South.
First Port player to kick 10 in match since Trent Ormond-Allen did in Round 3 2001
First Port player to kick 10 against Eagles
Only the third player to kick 10 against Eagles, last player to do so was John Fidge (11 goals) in the Preliminary Final of 1992. Tony Modra kicked 10 in the opening round of that year.
The lat player to kick 10 at Woodville was Andrew Taylor, when he kicked 12 goals against North in 1994.

Very happy with Port having a win. Can someone put up a quarter by quarter scoreline?

Were you at the game Booney? Do you have a summary like last week (different outcome of course!!!)?

Magpies!
