There was nothing cheap about it - cost me a fortune in beer to make that generalisation.

The problem isn't one of violence, it is one of lux.

It is so bloody dark at the Parade that people can't help but bump into each other.

Comment Wally May. It may be great for atmosphere etc but the lights are very ordinary !! Hello , are you listening Norwood, SANFL.This is an issue , Centrals are no better .

But the issue with violence between the 2 sides at Norwood is not good. Let me say this , I go to all Friday night games between Sturt & Norwood and I dont witness what happens between Central & Norwood ??

OCT, obviously you didn't go to the round 1 norwood v sturt match at norwood because there HAS BEEN AN UPGRADE of the lighting at norwood & it is a lot brighter (or perhaps they've just cleaned them) either way it is a lot lot brighter, unfortuneately for them you can't say the same about their team
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

Certainly did mate , upgrade hey , right . A lot brighter you say . Refer previous comments. Norwood could have done with that money. Obviously they are aware of the situation , which silences those that say it is good as per previous threads. Lomg way to go though unfortunately.

Mate, until you can get more than half a ground, and maybe then some lights of your own, I wouldn't be taking cheap shots at those who have them ... Maybe you do have lights, it's just that there's noone home?

Mate I would love Unley to have lights , so would you , I assume you go to SANFL games ? , I reckon every club should have them and the SANFL should contribute towards it . Do you have any knowledge of the historty between Sturt and the council or are you just having a go?

They arent cheap shots. Your lights at Norwood are BELOW STANDARD. If they werent, why the upgrade ? Dont hind behind the fact thay they are not good , just because you have lights doesnt mean you are succesful !! I notice you didnt answer the point about going across the road for a drink ?

Norwood are currently in a mess or trying to work it out , dont throw stones mate cos your'e club is a shambles...............lights and all

And opposition supporters would stand in the outer at Unley, if there was one !

If you weren't a Johnny-come-lately you would have seen numerous posts of mine stating my acceptance of the lights not being as good as I and most others would like them to be (although they were much better for Round 1, you must have missed them - hopefully they will remain that way) ... Fact remains that the SANFL still schedule games there and your club like 8 others are happy enough to play under them.

I don't give a rats about your issues with the Unley council mate, why is that any concern of mine?

You come in here like some half cocked cowboy shooting from the hip about another clubs faults and then make excuses for your own ... Show me one SANFL ground that couldn't be improved?

Reckon I was right the first time - The lights are on but noone's home.

If you weren't a Johnny-come-lately

My apologies ( or have you been influenced through other messages and hanging on coat tails you little whimP) for stating the bleeding obvious .Make your mind up mate , you have 2 options - they are average and could be improved or they are crap. As you say they are not good. I am not having a go at anybody else buddy , only your lights , but I think nobody is at home !! Mate Norwoods lights , no one else , Norwoods , are below standard . Not the bloody street lights , not Westies toilets lights , Norwood oval lights .

You come in here like some half cocked cowboy shooting from the hip about another clubs faults and then make excuses for your own ... Show me one SANFL ground that couldn't be improved?

Very smart comment mate. Trying to work out the excuses I have made ? Maybe if you weren't so igonorant you could see the point, or maybe you cant see because of the light. Mate take your head out of where you have it buried and focus on what peoples thoughts are and not how long they have been on the site for . Maybe you should actually think for yourself and not be influenced by others when you make comments.

See you accross for the road for a beer .............. oops forgot that you have forgot about that point and that you can't do it. I was at the game a couple of weeks ago .........10 goals wasnt it ??? The sad thing is we played very ordinary .

I'll see you at the back of Norwood Oval for a drink after any match, we dont have to cross any roads, we have an after match at the RSL. Of course it's easy to hide behind a keyboard so I wouldn't expect to see you there. However, if you have got testicles, ask anyone at the RSL where's Fester and they'll gladly point me out!
Have a cup of tea, a cucumber sandwich and take a bex and a lie down you'll feel better.
Yes your lovely blue-boy chappies beat us by 10 goals at The Parade in round 1, but I've NEVER seen a Premiership won in round 1, have you?

Just want to add that at no time did I feel "threatened or in danger" and had no problems parking in the street. I think the perceived fears of these games are just that, perceived.
Also the lights weren't very bright and I've never seen so many young girls pushing prams either.
