Our injury list just gets longer and longer.

Easier to name the blokes who are fit...

Dogs injury list is missing Adam Varcoe - apparently had knee reconstruction - terribly disappointing for the kid, would have played some league footy this year, no doubt.

Is a real real shame for Adam, I know Adam's Dad and Travis well (obviously his brother at Geelong) and no doubt they would be devestated.

The young lad has such a bright future and it's a real shame that is going to postponed for 12 months. I actually remember seeing the incident, it seemed so inconspicuous, but that's how a lot of these major knee injuries happen don't they ??

I don't know for a fact that he would have seen League action this year, but who knows. Obviously he needs to put a bit more muscle on his frame but now he has a bit more time to spend in the gym with his rehab. I guess the only positive out of a major negative.

Good luck in your recovery Adam, let's hope all goes well and we see you running around in the League team this time next year.

You can now add Luke Cowan to Centrals injury list...

Aparently he had an arthroscopy during the week to sort out a niggling knee problem.

I did actually mention in my Post Game Review of the Doggies v Sturt game that I thought Luke looked like he was struglling a little and wondered whether there was an injury if sorts ?

Anyway, I've heard that it might only be 2 weeks but could also be 3 or 4 weeks on the sidelines ? Let's hope he is back out there sooner rather than later...

He was walking just fine out at training tonight Phil, doesn't think it will be too long before he is back.

That's good news then isn't it Smac...

I myself actually caught the last 10 minutes of the League team training tonight, doing some goal kicking excercises. I must admit, I didn't see Luke but the boys looked pretty slick in the slightly greasy conditions. Will be good preparation for possibly similar conditions tomorrow night ???

Had the Old Lady's birthday dinner booked for 7pm at the club tonight and just thought we would get there a bit early so I could give the football uneducated fiance a bit of a lesson about our great great club. She can't help it, she's Polish and although she's been in Oz for about 25 years, she hasn't really had much interest or seen many games of footy before... I have talked her into coming to the game tomorrow night though, I told her it's all part of her education process !!!!?
