Good win by our blokes. Even the more meritorious as it was without our best on baller Mouse who pulled out* with 'flu before the game take out Logan and Grima and we had a far inferior side than last week.

What we lost on class the other blokes have obviously came to the party in enthusaism and desire (that is not a slight on Tom, Brett or Todd as they were not our worst lask week and certainly played with a bit of GnD)

Makes last weeks lost all the more galling as it SHOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED!!!!

Well done boys. The forwards were more effective today, with Dogger, Roar & Sells all doing the job.
Our defence looked solid, and Fish, Kane, Ty & Johnnie all worked their butts off in the middle.
Bodey had a good game. Have a rest then Westies in a fortnight...
The joy of being on the hill drinking beer cannot be understated

I wonder if we had more at the power than the crows, what would peoples view be then.

Normally I don't worry about them WOODWT after what they have been like in the past in finals etc.So I am sorry I brought it up.

Can see Grocke and Heir getting called up.

how did james mcentee go, also groke:?

Disappointed after last weeks efforts.
With Passa kicking 9 in the reserves, will be handy next week.

That is what should have happened against north .
A wake up call WWT football club .
Why was Mackie dropped?
Why was Grocke still in the two's
Why did guys running forward in the last quarter ignore free forwards like Staples and kick points and out on the full.
Why did WWT drop guiffrida .
Some changes needed next week before the port game .
And Cica and colville will be in the seconds next week

Thanks. :) The league side spoilt the quadrella. :(

I'm fairly sure that there will be an inquiry to that 19's result, despite that it won't change the result.

Had the offical umpire score been even closer, something might happen, I doubt there will be an inquiry.

Bays we re good but was amazed how many times we had loose players streaming through the half forward flanks with little pressure from the Eagles.....got to take your hat off to Dogger, looked real good today on the lead and in the contests, maybe starting to believe he can be a dominant forward in this league....Sellar did SFA apart from one fine mark....loved seeing Bodey fit and flying across the turf, a few times you could see he was a class above this league

Had SLSP ever missed a shot from the SNouts Pocket? 8)

Good to see the permanent Bar and Canteen back on Snouts hill 8) 8)

Highlight of game was Matty Bode's hip and shoulder on Schwarze which had the no.11 on the ground near the fence sooking his eyes out for a second time during the game

Disappointing to see this result. I couldn't make it and can't make it next week either, but there looked to be a few players not up to it against North. It's a little hard to understand, looking in from the outside, how a few players are playing reserves and not league. The midfield depth that we badly need are from blokes coming back from injury and that is a worrying sign.

We have a luxury of tall forwards, one of these needs to become a defender on the oppositions 3rd tall to allow McKenzie to be used where he is needed most and that is the midfield. Despite his brilliant display in the 1st round, I'd be looking at Schwarze for this role, as Passador can take FF and Grocke can take Staples position at CHF.

Good to see Hicks, Fairclough and Fitzgerald in the best players.

A big improvement needed for next week port is no easy game. I recon there might be about 3-5 changes made for next week.

In all seriousness Im staggered at the lack of support for the Eagles yesterday, maybe they were there but not very loud, I was there with 5-6 Eagles fans and even they commented there wernt many more....maybe an ageing club which has missed a generation? plenty fo kids running around in Glenelg gear but hardly any for the Eags

this is not a crack at them, Im concerned as a SANFL fan...

There were a good number in the family area Dutchy .i think i was drowned out by happy tigers fans .
For what it is worth there were very few people at the ground until not long before the main game started .I was there before the gates opened and saw the numbers increase all day.
